Story
Willow is 2 years old and a very sweet cat but is not super happy living in a house with a small dog and kids. On top of that we will be moving in 2025 to a one story house. At this point she won’t come downstairs because of our dog and hustle and bustle of family.

Story
Hi future family, my name is Marilyn!  I’m looking for a good home full of love because I have not been so lucky until recently.  I was left by the side of the road, hungry and with my babies when my current mom found and rescued us.  She named me Marilyn because, come on, can’t you see the resemblance?  I am very affectionate but you have to be patient and earn my trust.  I may need space at first so as we get to know each other please let me come to you.  It doesn’t take very long for me to start to warm up if you show me consistent love, patience, and I have my safe space.  I’m learning to communicate when I don’t want to be touched but I will let you know when I miss you with an adorable cry that will fill your heart.  Because of past traumas I would be at my best and feel safest as an only pet.  I deserve a happily ever after.  I’m so excited to get to know you and I hope you will be my forever family.

Story
1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) Remi, voted most likely to steal your heart, is such a joy to be around. He is such a delight in every way. This sweet, laid-back, and playful kitten is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a calm yet fun-loving fur baby. Remi is a social butterfly who enjoys being around people and other cats, and his affectionate nature makes him a perfect lap cat. He’s also incredibly adorable and loves to engage in a bit of playtime before curling up for a cozy nap. Remi thrives on attention and will happily snuggle up with you for hours. If you’re looking for a kitten who will bring joy, purrs, and cuddles into your life, Remi is the one for you! Remi and his sister Rue are the last two of their litter to find homes and they need to be adopted together. Rue still misses her brother Rocky, who has been adopted, so we want to keep Rue and Remi together. These two are such a great pair of kittens and will make a great addition to any family. ****HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RESCUES/SHELTERS**** ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***Food Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We ‘ve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***Post Adoption Support It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! Story
1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) Rue is probably the calmest kitten of her litter. That doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have her fair share of kitten energy, but she also enjoys chilling on someone’s lap or chest. She is very easy going and has made friends with all of the cats, and people, that she has met. Rue is a confident and well-rounded kitten and will do well in any home environment as long as she gets a lot of love and attention. Because Rue has been missing her brother Rocky since he was adopted we would like to keep Rue with her brother Remi so she will always have a sibling by her side. Rue and Remi spend a lot of time playing together and finding comfort in sucking and kneading on their soft blanket. ****HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RESCUES/SHELTERS**** ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! Story
Sophie is 7 years old, she is healthy, vaccinated and microchipped. My 5 year old has ADHD and is Autism spectrum and he runs around and she is very afraid. She hides upstairs all day and it is not good for her. I want her to go to a home without small children or big dogs. She doesn't like to be held very much but loves to be pet and will cuddle next to you. She has the softest fur like a rabbit. She likes to sleep at the end of my bed at night. She likes things calm and quiet. And unfortunately my house is neither of those things. I am trying to find her a loving peaceful home so she won’t be so stressed out. She gets along great with other cats and deals with the dogs but she would prefer no dogs.

Story
If you are interested in meeting Mikey L, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php MikeyL - Yes, I was named after the Life cereal commercial because I will eat anything (well almost anything). I am a fluffy kitten (the only 'fluffers' one 1 out of 4!) who loves to be petted. This makes me purr loudly and wag my tail like a dog. I love playing with my siblings and my favorite sibling is WobblesL, aka WoB. I was born approximately 3/18/23. This litter of 4 might always have a chronic case of URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) which is caused by at least 2 different viruses. This is characterized by 1 or both of the following: runny eyes and sneezing, nasal discharge. Right now they appear cured (no sneezing, no eye or nasal discharge.) They should be onlys or go with a sibling or go to a household that also has a kitty with chronic URI or live with a kitty that has had URI so many times, they are largely immune to it. Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.
