Story
Oddie is a very loving cat he loves to sit on your lap. He’s a big boy and will be a year old in March. He was one of five kittens that we rescued and so having nine cats. We need to find some of them a forever home And he is also an indoor cat he has a brother that looks very much like him. We are wanting to rehome Riley as well. Would like for the boys to stay together but you can pick one if you need to. He is litter box trained.

Story
Hi future family, my name is Marilyn!  I’m looking for a good home full of love because I have not been so lucky until recently.  I was left by the side of the road, hungry and with my babies when my current mom found and rescued us.  She named me Marilyn because, come on, can’t you see the resemblance?  I am very affectionate but you have to be patient and earn my trust.  I may need space at first so as we get to know each other please let me come to you.  It doesn’t take very long for me to start to warm up if you show me consistent love, patience, and I have my safe space.  I’m learning to communicate when I don’t want to be touched but I will let you know when I miss you with an adorable cry that will fill your heart.  Because of past traumas I would be at my best and feel safest as an only pet.  I deserve a happily ever after.  I’m so excited to get to know you and I hope you will be my forever family.

Story
Meet Champ... Champ is about 4 mos old. He was rescued by the City of Lincoln in a storm drain on 11/14/24. He is a fighter from day one! I gladly took him on as a foster mom until he grew and became nuetured, flea bathed/treated. He is 100% healthy. He is unbeliveablely loving & affectionate. He fits right in with my 2 adult cats and 3 small dogs. We love him and will place him in a home that is cat experienced and friendly. He loves cuddles. Oh and he loves his Churu's! I will be selective in placing him so please serious, experienced inquiries only. There is always an adult here in my home most times. Seeking a home for him where humans are around (ie, hybrid work from home, retired?) He is the best kitten on the planet! Asking for $125 to cover his food/treat because he loves to eat. I will send you with the rest of his canned food, kibble & treats. He was altered on 1/24/25 and given shots/flea med. He is ready for his new home. Warmly, Champs adoptive mom, Martha

1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) Maya, a sleek mini panther who exudes elegance, charm and whit will keep you entertained for hours. Bursting with playful energy, Maya turns everything into an adventure, darting around with unmatched curiosity and enthusiasm. Maya enjoys playing and cuddling with her foster siblings as well as any visitors that come her way. Despite being a little whirlwind of fun, Maya adores cuddle time just as much, melting into your arms for attention and affection. Maya has a loud purr that starts the minute she sees you. This sweet girl enjoys lap time where she can get all the attention she desires. With Maya’s playfulness, she will need an active kitty friend that can keep up with her. Maya can be a little opinionated when she first meets new cats so a slow and thoughtful introduction will be necessary. Maya and her new kitty sibling will be best friends if the introduction process is done properly. Maya is a great companion kitty who is looking for her soulmate—someone who will cherish her bold personality and loving heart. Her lighthearted and silly demeaner will warm your heart. Maya is ready to start the next big adventure that comes her way. ****HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RESCUES/SHELTERS**** ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***Food Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We ‘ve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***Post Adoption Support It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! Story
1) READ ENTIRE AD 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end). Introducing Teddy! Sweet Teddy , a five month old gem who’s a true lover at heart! While he may be a little slow to warm up to new people, he’s definitely worth the wait. In his foster home, Teddy follows his human everywhere and desires loads of attention. He’s a cuddler, biscuit maker, gentle, and loves to nap with his human. Since he will need time to build trust and feel secure with new people, he’ll need a home that’s patient and understanding, allowing him the time he needs to adjust and feel safe. Teddy is also a playful boy. He is a huge fan of wand toys and enjoys interactive play. He absolutely loves and can’t resist Churu squeezable treats, which may definitely help win his heart. He loves the resident cats in his foster home and seeks their attention. Adopting Teddy with one of his siblings may help him feel more comfortable as he adjusts to his forever home. The patience he’s given will be richly rewarded as this special boy has a lot of love to give. ________________________________________________________ ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care!
