Story
Hi, Tux turned 3 years old July 17. I got him from a pet smart when he was about 4months old. He lived with another cat for 6 months until my roommate moved out, so I’m assuming he’s good with cats, just give them a chance to warm up to each other. He’s good with dogs, has a sister American Bully. I would like for his new home to have a cat for him to play with. I work 12+ hr days, my dog goes to my parents so he’s home a lot by himself and isn’t fair to him anymore :( Tux is big on affection and cuddles. He loves sun bathing by a window, or if you have a small balcony or patio.

Story
Meet Charles – The Twice-Neutered Tabby with a Heart of Gold! Charles isn’t just any grey tabby—he’s a one-of-a-kind sweetheart with a story to tell! This sensitive young cat is looking for a calm, cozy home where he can truly thrive. Charles has been neutered... twice! That’s right—he’s been through the procedure not once, but twice, just to be extra sure. It’s safe to say he’s the most neutered cat you’ll ever meet! He’s also fully vaccinated and ready to be the king of his indoor kingdom. With his gentle soul and affectionate nature, Charles loves to rub up against your legs when he’s ready for some love, and once he feels safe, he’s all about those cuddle sessions. But he’s also a sensitive boy who needs a relaxed environment to feel secure. Charles can be a bit particular about his furry roommates, so he’d do best as the only pet or with calm companions who respect his space. In the right home—a quiet, low-stress haven—Charles will blossom into the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for. If you’re looking for a tender, sweet kitty who’ll be forever grateful for your love, Charles might just be your perfect match. Will you be the one to give him the peaceful home he deserves?

Story
1) READ ENTIRE AD 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end). Introducing Teddy! Sweet Teddy , a five month old gem who’s a true lover at heart! While he may be a little slow to warm up to new people, he’s definitely worth the wait. In his foster home, Teddy follows his human everywhere and desires loads of attention. He’s a cuddler, biscuit maker, gentle, and loves to nap with his human. Since he will need time to build trust and feel secure with new people, he’ll need a home that’s patient and understanding, allowing him the time he needs to adjust and feel safe. Teddy is also a playful boy. He is a huge fan of wand toys and enjoys interactive play. He absolutely loves and can’t resist Churu squeezable treats, which may definitely help win his heart. He loves the resident cats in his foster home and seeks their attention. Adopting Teddy with one of his siblings may help him feel more comfortable as he adjusts to his forever home. The patience he’s given will be richly rewarded as this special boy has a lot of love to give. ________________________________________________________ ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We have been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process

Story
Hello, I`m Emma. In my golden years, I`ve become a master of relaxation. I`m independent, preferring to observe the world around me with gentle curiosity. I might be a bit shy at first, but give me time and I`ll warm up to you. I`m a mellow soul, appreciating the quieter moments in life. Despite my reserved nature, I`m friendly and enjoy the occasional petting session. I`m the perfect companion for someone who values peace and tranquility. I might not be the youngest cat in the shelter, but I have a lifetime of love to give. I value my time to myself, so I am required to go to a single cat home. Noise and activity can be frightening, so any children in my new home are required to be 10 and over. Adopt me and let`s enjoy the simple pleasures of life together.Adoption Fee $50 monthly promo applies

Story
Moriarty is a handsome tabby boy looking for his new home. He came to us as a scared little kitten, but he has made tremendous progress and is looking for a home to call his own. You can see glimpses of his past when he meets new people or goes into new surroundings. Moriarty will run and hide at first, often choosing to burrow under the nearest blanket. Give him some time and help him get comfortable, and you will see his true personality. His foster says he loves to curl up in laps and will show you how happy he is with his big purr. Moriarty also has a playful side. Wand toys are his favorite. Sometimes he may start to play rough, so he needs a family who will teach him how to direct his energy. Because he is more of a sensitive kitty, we are requiring that any children in his home are 10 and older. He may do well with other cats in his new home with a slow introduction.Adoption Fee: $125Monthly Promotion Applies!
