Estimated Birthday 04-24-2024 Physical Description Sasha is a tuxedo kitty (black and white). She is a little bit crossed eyed but that doesn't stop her. She has white paws that look like little boots. Personality Sasha is the perfect, most friendly cat. She always wants to be around you. Sasha is super curious and always likes to know what going on. She loves head scratches and can be a little mischievous. Sasha is always in the mood to play and loves to play with toys. She also loves to eat! She hasn’t yet perfected her meow, so as of right now she makes cute little chirping sounds. Sasha has a mild congenital condition called eyelid agensis, which historically has caused the inner lining of her eyelid to rub against the surface of her eye. Sasha has received corrective treatment from UC Davis and is much more comfortable. They would like to see her back in 3 months for a recheck but she is otherwise a happy, healthy girl.  This kitty has what sort of characteristics? Story
Pepper: A Purrfect Companion Pepper isn't just a kitten; she's a tiny tornado of love and curiosity, wrapped in a coat of soft, velvety black fur. Pepper's very light gray tabby stripes on her tummy, which are only visible in the perfect light, add to her unique style. With her big, curious eyes and playful spirit, she's ready to steal your heart. Adding to her adorableness…she has the cutest habit of sticking her tongue out a lot. This sweet and confident little fluff-ball loves nothing more than to follow her human around from room to room, always eager to see what new adventures await. Her foster mom's nickname for her is "shadow" because she loves to be close by and is always in the mix while her foster mom is working from home or doing chores around the house. Whether it's exploring a cozy nook or investigating a mysterious toy, Pepper's curiosity knows no bounds. She's always eager to explore new sights and smells, and her playful nature shines through in every interaction. Pepper is a true social butterfly and a natural-born diplomat, adoring both other feline friends and canine companions alike. Her friendly and outgoing personality makes her a wonderful addition to any home, whether you're a seasoned cat owner or a first-time pet parent. She's so good natured and easy-going, that she was asked to do a photo shoot for a friend who sells dog and kitty bowls. She was the purr-fect model. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and playful kitten to brighten your days, Pepper is the perfect match. She's ready to bring warmth, laughter, and endless purrs into your life. This friendly and affectionate kitten is ready to find a loving family to call her own. Pepper would do very well with small children who know how to behave with small animals. Pepper is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Pepper please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Brennda at brennda_corrie@yahoo.com or 9162058182. If you are unable to reach Brennda please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Meet Lucky (A212643)! Lucky is a young boy of about 9 months of age. Lucky came to us as a stray so we have no history on him, but we do know that he is a superstar sweetheart of a kitty who loves being petted and will purr and roll around happily! Lucky came in to the shelter sick with an upper respiratory infection and tested positive for a virus called Feline Leukemia (Felv) and is considered to be a special needs kitty for this reason. We nursed Lucky back to health with a lot of love and antibiotics and he is feeling great now and ready for a loving home. Felv is a virus that is only found in cats and is contagious to other cats through direct contact. The virus causes a weakened immune system, but with a high quality diet and good care it is possible for a kitty with Felv to live a long, happy healthy life! Lucky needs an indoor only home where he will be fed a high-quality diet to keep him healthy and received regular veterinary care so that he can be treated right away if he becomes sick. Lucky is the sweetest boy! We just know there is an angel out there somewhere who will fall in love with Lucky and give him everything he needs to have the best life! Please let that be you! All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Meet Rango (A212994)! Rango is still a kitten at just six months of age and is looking for a loving home at the shelter. Rango was abandoned at a colony of cats in Esparto which is so sad. He followed the family who feed this colony to the car meowing and insisted on not being left behind. Rango is the most friendly, easygoing kitty. He just melts with love and will be your best friend ever. Rango loves other cats and loves to run and play with them. He especially loves his little buddy Junior (A212995) and you can often find them cuddling together. Rango got along with a calm cat-friendly dog in the home. Rango is so relaxed and comfortable in his little furry body and so happy with life and the world that he is pretty unflappable which means he will be quite adaptable to different households. Story
Octavia ( I call her Tovee) is a chonky, floof butt sweetheart. She loves to cuddle in bed, is super relaxed, low energy, and loves to chase red dots. She is a licker! She will groom you forever if you let her. Is not aggressive in any manner, if she doesn't like something she just leaves. She does have a lot to say, she meows quite a bit but not constantly. I got her along with a black cat, named Legacy (I call him Little Guy), from a shelter. My preference is to keep them together. They are both 7 years old a month apart, born in July and August. I think their shots are current but they could be due soon. Clipping their nails is a breeze! Legacy is a male domestic short hair. Also microchipped and house trained. Great with kids. He is clingy and cuddly. He is the definition of lap cat and a shadow. He loves to lay on your hips, cuddle up by your feet or in your arms, he will drool when given his favorite pets under his chin and on his cheeks. He is also vocal when hungry.

Pretzel and Pringles MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. Bonded Pair-$300 for the Pair. Pretzel & Pringles: The Energizer Bunnies of the Cat World Meet Pretzel and Pringles, the bonded siblings who are guaranteed to bring endless energy and joy to your home. These two kittens are inseparable, and their love for each other knows no bounds. These sweet girls are not only affectionate and loving, but they are also incredibly smart. When they wake up in the morning, their foster mom is greeted with endless leg rubs that are a testament to their loving natures. While these two don't completely adore being picked up, they do adore being close to their person and are always eager for neck and bootie scratches! With their one-speed, "on" personalities, Pretzel and Pringles are a whirlwind of energy, constantly chasing each other, pouncing on toys, and exploring every corner of their surroundings, These two absolutely love toys that move or roll and will spend hours playing with them. But in the evening, when it's time to wind down, they love to curl up together for a cozy nap on their person's lap or on a fuzzy blanket. Pretzel is extremely fascinated with dogs and has no fear whatsoever. She wants so badly to be besties with the dogs in her foster home. Pringles, however, is a little more cautious and is still not quite sure why there is another furry companion getting attention that should be reserved solely for her. Even with Pringles ambivalence toward dogs, these two would do great in a home with cat-friendly doggos who know how to behave with kitties. They would also be great with mid to older children who can shower them with attention and play with them constantly! Recently, these photogenic and personable felines were asked to join a photo shoot where they stole the show along with the heart of the photographer! If you're looking for two kittens who will bring double the love and double the energy, Pretzel and Pringles are the perfect pair for you. Adopt them today and let their playful spirits brighten your life. Pretzel is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. Story
"Lovely to look at Olivia" and she knows it! What a beautiful girl she is with her care free super silky luxurious coat, long plumed tail and those luminous gold eyes! Olivia loves to be talked to and admired. "Look at me" she says "Yes please, you may tell me I am beautiful!" This girl is a gobsmacking show stopper that's for sure; and a sweet kitty too. Olivia is not at all aggressive, never hisses or growls. She is not assertive. Olivia came to her present home as the fourth pet. There were two other kitties and a small dog. She coexisted with them on her cautious terms. Her owners are preparing for a long-distance relocation which has placed them in the position of needing to find the perfect adopters for their kitties. Two of three have been successfully placed in wonderful homes leaving Olivia as the last one. Come to find out she seems much happier and less guarded being the only kitty in the household. She had pretty much kept to herself, but now she has become much more interactive, liking to be petted while she eats her food, and receives her favorite treats. We think she will continue to unfold and may begin to take an interest in playing with cat toys without the competition from other pets getting to them first. While she is not a lap cat per se, she does stay in close proximity to her people. Olivia likes to be in the same room to sit with you by your chair or the couch while relaxing. She will sit on the couch when no one is using it. Olivia's favorite room is the Master Bedroom. When their small dog pressures her she trots off to her 'safe place' beneath the master bedroom bed. This is where she likes to sleep at night as well, in her own cozy bed. She sleeps on top of the bed during the day. We think Olivia would be the happiest cat in the world if she could have a life in a fairly quiet environment as the only pet, continuing as the indoor-only kitty she has always been. She will do well where someone is home most of the time, with a sunny window to watch birds and see other outdoor activity. Respectful children over the age of 12 might be a plus for Olivia if they are gentle and persuasive in helping her to trust them. Will you give Olivia the chance to unfold into the sweet companion kitty she is meant to be? If so, she is waiting to meet you to be your beautiful girl! Olivia is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her owner in Brentwood. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Olivia please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why?
