Meet Bear, an adorable older gentleman who is looking for a retirement home. This extra large boy will fill your arms, home and probably bed with love. Bear will need to be brushed regularly to keep his luscious coat in tip top shape. Bear does have a tendency to claim he is starving, even after he has eaten, so a little help in keeping him trim will be needed. A "slow feed bowl" seems to help prevent him eating too quickly. Introducing Brittany! She takes a while to warm up to strangers; however, once she trusts you, she'll want treats and to be petted as much as possible. During the day, she likes to sleep and will start to get active and hungry in the afternoon. Then, once the sun has set, she becomes very playful and purrs to the touch. Brittany has a great personality, and just needs someone who can be patient with her. She sleeps in her covered cat bed and other places that provide some shelter, helping her feel safe.

Flora is a lovely, curious, and feisty little cat with a tiny mew and a very loud purr! She loves playing with any kind of toy, even a scrap of paper or, oddly, a bowl of ice cubes. A good eater, Flora is highly interested in any kind of food or snack. Flora had a tough beginning and was brought to VOKRA from a feral cat colony in the Downtown Eastside when she was about a month old. When she and her brothers came to their foster home, they were frightened and not accustomed to being among people. Since then, they have all made incredible progress and Flora is quite comfortable being petted and picked up (which will start her purring). She will follow her peeps around the house. As Flora can still be frightened by sudden movements or noises, her family will need to be sensitive to her progress. Flora will be a wonderful addition to the right family, ideally with a buddy cat. Must adopt as a buddy to another cat.

Cinder is an adorable fluff ball who likes to live in her own little world. As the runt of the litter, she was a little behind her siblings, but they took her under their wings. Having said this, she can definitely hold her own if they try and take her toys! Cinder enjoys playing, especially with the laser, wand toys, and a little piece of felt. Cinder also likes to fall asleep suckling her sisters' toes and gently kneading her belly. She finds comfort in being cuddled up against Raven or people when she sleeps. Must adopt with Raven.

Raven is super sweet and the best big sister to Cinder, who she adores. Gorgeous Raven loves cuddling on your lap and has the cutest bleps (tongue out) of all of her siblings. Raven enjoys playing, especially if she can jump or climb, but also likes the laser and wand toys and ping pong balls. Raven started out shy and nervous, but you would never guess that by how sweet and social she is around people. She also loves gazing out the window and making little biscuits (kneading) her bed. Must adopt with Cinder.

Queen is a gentle soul with a touch of elegance and regal charm. While she may be a bit shy at first, Queen’s tender personality shines as she gradually builds trust with new people. Her foster family has watched her blossom, and she now enjoys being petted and is more approachable, especially during mealtimes. Queen loves to play with her sister, Bishop, chasing toys and sharing cuddles, but she also has a quieter, more reflective side that makes her unique. She’s shown a lovely affinity for the older cat in the home, displaying her ability to form sweet and gentle connections. Queen thrives in a patient and loving environment, where her kind heart and playful energy can fully flourish.
