Story
Meet Ebony, a dynamic diva, a beautiful belle, a vivacious vixen. Ebony is a fluffy, outgoing cat who loves attention and pets but also has limits to how and when she's handled. She will let you know with a bit of a swat if you're doing something that displeases her but she also really loves her people and can be quite affectionate. Because of her temperamental personality she is looking for a cat savvy home without children who allows her to rule as queen supreme. She has lived with other cats before but could occasionally be a bit domineering, so may be best as the only feline in the home. She would need proper, slow introductions to other animals in a new home. She may be a bit anxious in new environments and will need some love and time to adjust in her new home. Once comfortable she will really enjoy exploring her new home. Ebony is used to being a strictly indoor only cat. Adopt Ebony today, and welcome a lifetime of feline companionship into your heart. If you are interested in adopting , follow these steps:1. Visit our centre to meet this pet, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or2. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first matching adopter to set-up a visit!https://adopt.spca.bc.ca/type/cat/ Primary Color: Black Weight: 4 Age: 8yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
This sweetheart is such a cuddle bug, wanting tons of love and pets. She will crawl into our laps and arms for snuggles and sometimes even hop up onto our shoulders just to be closer to us! Ellie has been struggling with an upper respiratory infection called Calicivirus. We have been treating her with antibiotics and other medications to help her overcome this illness but she is still currently showing symptoms of nasal and eye discharge as well as frequent sneezes. Since she is contagious, we would like her to go to a home where she is the only cat or a home who has a resident calicivirus positive cat. Ellie is available to be placed into foster-to-adopt which means we will make sure she is deemed healthy by a vet prior to finalizing her adoption but she could go into her forever home while healing from this infection. If you would like to meet Ellie, please reach out to a staff member and we will be able to discuss further! Primary Color: Black Weight: 1.84 Age: 0yrs 5mths 3wks

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ursula is stunning. She is sleek, fluffy and an absolute delight. She takes fantastic care of her coat as she likes to make sure she is the best looking cat in town. Some call her high maintenance, others call her natural. Ursula has an outgoing personality and she loves to explore her surroundings as much as she loves attention. She's just cool like that.Ursula is, however, a bit of a diva and prefers to be the only pet in the house where she can be center stage and the only star, but who can blame her. Are you ready to share you home and your heart with this lovely green-eyed beauty? If so read below to find out how to make that happen.***Ursula has a spay appointment on November 21st at King George Vet Hospital in Surrey. Ursula can still go home with you today, but will do so under the heading of "Foster to Adopt" until her spay is completed, at which time her adoption can be finalized. Potential adopters must be able to take Ursula to her appointment (drop off time is typically around 8:45-9:30am). For adoption applications:1. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit. Kindly note that due to the high number of applications, we will only be contacting suitable potential adopters to further review their interest.OR2. Visit the Surrey BC SPCA at 16748 50 Ave, to meet Ursula to learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person. If you are invited to meet Ursula please come prepared with a cat carrier as we do same-day adoptions if the meet goes well.
