Story
Flora was a local surrender due to not getting along with the other cats in the home. Flora was an outdoor cat who was brought indoors so she didn't know how to be an indoor cat. Since being at the shelter Flora has learned how to coexist with other cats and is more comfortable being indoors with people. She is absolutely beautiful, and deserves to be the center of someone's world. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at sftsrescue.org/adoptableanimals

Good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Roy G Biv. In a nutshell. He's really hairy and eats way too many churus. He follows you around like a boss and watches every move you make. He loves to play with toys, until he doesn't. Then he'll just kick back and watch you try to engage him, all the while silently judging you. He'll chatter on about this or that. Mostly about his getting his meals on time. But he'll remove himself from your presence if you've got too much to say. He wants you near him, but probably not too close. He'll decide that. Every day is different. He won't sit on your lap, only at your side. After some time, he'll walk away like you've offended him. He won't wear a hat, although I tried. But he will occasionally wipe out while walking across the floor and look at you like you pushed him. On a rare occasion, he'll give you a love-bite, just for funsies. He's pretty specific about who he spends time with. He prefers to have the place to himself, with no other pets. He's just Roy. Rescued from the streets as a feral stray. Loves his people, his way.

It could be because they are a bonded pair, are a little bit shy, or have FIV. Maybe they had a medical concern that took us a while to work through. Sometimes, though, we have no idea what is taking so long! These kitties all deserve love. Don't let them be forgotten! Leanne's adoption fee is $50 (or adopt her with her kittens Charles and Camilla for a total adoption fee of $75).
