Story
Jackpot is a 3-month-old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped! Meet Jackpot and Jumpin' Jack! These handsome little men are sweet babies who are ready to venture off into their very own loving forever homes. While they may be a bit shy and unsure at first, they are truly sweethearts who adore pets and snuggles from their favorite people once comfortable. They will need some time to adjust to their new home but the wait will be well worth it once they start to blossom into the lovable kittens they are. Once they have adjusted to their surroundings, they are typical goofy and active kittens who love to chase around their toys, explore their surroundings, play with one another as well as with their favorite people, and (of course!) get into a bit of kitten mischief every now and then. Since both Jackpot and Jumpin' Jack can be shy little guys and do startle at times from fast movements and loud noises they are looking for a bit of a calmer and quieter household where they would have plenty of space to adjust to their new home. So, they are looking for a family with older respectful children at least 8 years of age or older who won't chase or scare them. They are both much more comfortable and confident with another feline friend by their side so they are required to go to a home with another kitty. And, if you are looking at adding twice the love to your family, these handsome little boys would love to go home with one another! If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and emailing it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print it and drop it off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Koala is a transfer from an overcrowded shelter; she isn't so sure about us humans here at DHS, but with time we are positive she will warm up and be as loving as she previously was. Koala has a soft, lush coat that would relax anyone after a hard day's work; once she is comfortable, she will allow petting and even give some head nudges to your hand for more attention. Koala has not been tested with other kitties yet, due to her not wanting to leave the comfort of her kennel.Don't pass up this beauty; she is sure to make a wonderful lap warmer! “I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle me into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).”

Story
Brothers Kringle (gray & white), Nicholas (black), and Claus (gray) looking for a home (or homes) with a tree to nap under and a family to snuggle with. Do you have room for the Christmas crew? Our adoption fee is $150 for one kitten, $250 for two kittens, $300 for all three. It includes a vet exam, age-appropriate vaccines, FeLV screening, microchip, and spay/neuter (at our vet). Please note that BCHA does not adopt a single kitten into a home unless there is another young cat in the home. Kittens do better with a feline companion, and two kittens are actually easier than one. For more information, contact us at adopt@bchapets.org.
We'll also keep you updated on Nicholas's adoption status with email updates.
