Story
Nakia is a very sweet cat when she gets to know you. She takes a while to get use to people but as soon as she is comfortable with you she will sit on you and near you. She will always great you with a meow and expects you to give her some scratches. However not on her belly. She hates that! She is a very active cat and will do her own thing. She loves toys and will play with you for a long time as long as you are up for it. She is also a calm cat that can be left alone to do her own thing.

Story
Please note: Harley must be the only cat in the household. He will come with a self-cleaning litter box and other goodies. My husband adopted Harley from his grandmother after she passed away. Harley is an adorable small male cat with beautiful white and gray hair. He weights no more than 15 lbs. He is a very good nature cat and gets a long with everybody young or old. Although it may take him awhile to adjust to a new place, he does socialize and will let anyone pets him. He is never ever aggressive, however he does growl and yowl when he’s stressed out but he will not swat at anybody. Harley is a very sweet natured cat and very family friendly. He will cozy up to you and give you light taps to let you know that he wants to be pet. He is very friendly and sociable toward certain house guests. However on most days, he will want to hide away to a corner, closet or under the bed so you’d have to come find him. Harley is potty trained and he does well in a robot litter.

Story
Plumette (plume) is a very sweet and timid kitty. We adopted her 1.5 years ago and it took about 3 months for her to warm up to us to the point where she would come up and ask for pets and cuddles, but still did not like to be pet unless she requested it and would run away. We moved about a year ago, and then had a baby aboout 4 months ago and has not seemed very happy since those transitions. She has 2 other siblings, which she gets along with but never really cuddles or plays with them, she is very submissive so I believe she would do well in a household with other cats, but is not necessary as she usually plays by herself. I believe she would do well in a low energy, no kid household. She is a very sweet kitty and I would love to find a family that has time to grow a connection with her in a less stressful environment.

Story
Hazel is 2.5 years old. She was adopted from a neighborhood litter of kittens. She enjoys long naps, chin scratches, being brushed, and getting treats. Her nails can be trimmed if she is distracted with treats. Hazel would do well with a cat that plays gently and mostly keeps to themselves. She doesn't like loud noises or being pounced on or chased. Not sure how she is around dogs. After we merged 2 households and introduced another female cat, Hazel began marking a corner in the house and has become a different cat. She growls and hisses at the other cat and chases her around the house constantly. Her owners even get hissed at when they come into the room. She started spending her time hiding under the bed. We tried the Feliaway infusers also to no avail. She even quit eating for a few days except treats. A trip to the vet confirmed she was healthy and that her marking was territorial. It is clear that Hazel is not happy and needs to be rehomed.

Story
Tiger is a gentle guy who would love to find his forever home this winter! It can take him a little while to warm up to people, but once he feels settled in you can expect to find him snoozing in a cozy pile of blankets, pouncing on anything crinkly, nibbling on his favorite edible plants, or purring LOUDLY as you scritch his ears. He has no tail which only adds to his charm!Tiger would do best in a calm home with adults or older kids who will respect his boundaries. We`re not sure how he is with other cats, and might prefer to be your one and only. If you`re looking for a quiet but affectionate new friend with lots of love (and head bonks) to give, Tiger`s your guy!Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
Hi! I’m Precious. I can be shy at first, and it can take a bit for me to warm up, but once I get to know you, I turn into a very vocal cuddle bug! I absolutely love laying on my people. Try giving me some head scratches, and you`ll see how much I appreciate it; I’ll stretch out my paw to nudge you if you stop too soon. I’m not shy about asking for attention, either. You’ll hear me meowing to let you know when I’m in the mood to play, cuddle, or for some dinner. I take a break in the middle of the day for nap time in a quiet place. I`m looking for a calm, peaceful home and to be your one and only.
