Story
Hi, this is Jiggles! We acquired Jiggles in Colorado and came back here to washington. She is 5 years old. In a home, she needs attention that we have been unable to provide. She enjoys hiding around in closets or being in the window whenever she gets a chance. She has been around 1 other cat, 4 dogs and two toddlers and it's definitely hectic for her. I do recommend a strict feeding diet for her on timing and how much, have been unable to do that due to the 2nd cat in our household. I would describe her as loveable, princess, hider. She likes to be all of that.

Story
Plumette (plume) is a very sweet and timid kitty. We adopted her 1.5 years ago and it took about 3 months for her to warm up to us to the point where she would come up and ask for pets and cuddles, but still did not like to be pet unless she requested it and would run away. We moved about a year ago, and then had a baby aboout 4 months ago and has not seemed very happy since those transitions. She has 2 other siblings, which she gets along with but never really cuddles or plays with them, she is very submissive so I believe she would do well in a household with other cats, but is not necessary as she usually plays by herself. I believe she would do well in a low energy, no kid household. She is a very sweet kitty and I would love to find a family that has time to grow a connection with her in a less stressful environment.

Story
Hazel is 2.5 years old. She was adopted from a neighborhood litter of kittens. She enjoys long naps, chin scratches, being brushed, and getting treats. Her nails can be trimmed if she is distracted with treats. Hazel would do well with a cat that plays gently and mostly keeps to themselves. She doesn't like loud noises or being pounced on or chased. Not sure how she is around dogs. After we merged 2 households and introduced another female cat, Hazel began marking a corner in the house and has become a different cat. She growls and hisses at the other cat and chases her around the house constantly. Her owners even get hissed at when they come into the room. She started spending her time hiding under the bed. We tried the Feliaway infusers also to no avail. She even quit eating for a few days except treats. A trip to the vet confirmed she was healthy and that her marking was territorial. It is clear that Hazel is not happy and needs to be rehomed.

Story
Hi, my name is Chester and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Nov 01, 2024. I’m an attention seeking feline, and I’m not afraid to admit it! I use soft head butts or tiny meows as my go-to ways to receive pets. Getting lots of affection is what makes me happy, but I don’t just like to get the love, I like to give it too!

Story
Nakia is a very sweet cat when she gets to know you. She takes a while to get use to people but as soon as she is comfortable with you she will sit on you and near you. She will always great you with a meow and expects you to give her some scratches. However not on her belly. She hates that! She is a very active cat and will do her own thing. She loves toys and will play with you for a long time as long as you are up for it. She is also a calm cat that can be left alone to do her own thing.

Story
Scoots is playful, cuddly, and curious. She loves bouncing around the house, following her favorite person and playing with her sister Boots. She is a very food motivated girl and will come running for treats/any food. A home without small children is best for her as she plays a bit rough. She is slowly realizing her claws have power. When she is not playing, she is cuddling with her people on the couch. You will fall in love with her blanket soft fur and big, fluffy tail!
