Story
**Must Remain an Indoor Cat**Oh hi, good day. My name is Milt, but I actually prefer going by Milton. I am a dapper cat who loves to watch the world around me from the comfort of my own bed, or box. I came from a hoarding situation, where I was socialized with lots of other cats, but I only had one other human in my life, so I’m still a little shy around people. While my friends like to pile on top of each other to get your head and back rubs, I’d rather sit quietly and stare deep into your soul. I do hope one day I will enjoy cuddles, but what I lack in physical closeness, I make up for in deep heartfelt companionship. I hope to be your perfect match!Milt's date of birth is 08/02/21.If your house is missing a sweet and playful kitty, please submit an adoption application at https://www.fayettefcar.com/ready-to-adopt where you can also review FCAR’s adoption requirements. All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee. The adoption fee is $95 with an approved application. A home inspection is required prior to all cat adoptions. For more information about this animal and other please visit our website at fayettefcar.com or contact us at 901/854-2565. I'm a kitten, gentle and a bit shy with a beautiful long black coat. I'm also an Olympic athlete, in a manner of speaking. My arena? The shelter. My sport? Well I am named after a swimmer, but I'd rather my only experience with water be my water bowl. I'm looking for a human who understands that I need a little time to come out of my shell. But once I do, I promise, we'll have a great time together. Adopt me, and let's make our own Olympic memories."Biondi's date of birth is 6/18/2024.We are offering a special right now where you can adopt any 2 felines and pay only one adoption fee of $95!!If your house is missing a sweet and playful kitty, please submit an adoption application at http://www.fayettefcar.com/applicationform, where you can also review FCAR’s adoption requirements. All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee (local adoptions only.) I'm just a kitten, but I dream big. I imagine myself as an Olympic gymnast, gracefully leaping from one spot to another, my movements as fluid as water. I'm a bit shy, you see, but that doesn't stop me from having grand dreams. I'm gentle too, always careful not to scratch or bite. I may be quiet, but I have a lot to offer. Story
Shelly Coco Kitty was a stray that a friend rescued at 6 weeks old. She came home that same week in Sept 2024. She immediately used the litter box from day one when we got her. We spayed her at 12 weeks old. She is very energetic, very loving and will curl up with you when you are on the couch or bed. She loves our chocolate lab but is a bit timid around our children as they are very rambunctious. We got Shelly a few months after losing our sweet Ollie Cat and we thought we were ready and the kids but our youngest (15 months old) terrorizes her and it makes her even more timid when he's in a room and she will lash out at him (not that it isn't deserved because he is quite rough with her and we have to stay on him constantly). We think it was too soon to get her and our youngest needs some time to grow up. We want her to go to a good home and as soon as possible since she is still so young. She will get into everything and jump on counters but other than those things she's pretty good.
