Story
Meet Leo! Rough and tough like Leo the Lion, this little charmer practically screams "love me!" when around people. With his majestic floof and soulful eyes, he's a hard kitty to resist. He enjoys running around with his fluffy tail straight in the air, as if to point the way to your heart. Leo is very food motivated and will frequently try to convince you that he needs second, third and fourth breakfast, particularly if it's wet food. He also has no shame and will check out his siblings' bowls to see if he can swipe any of their food. After he gains energy from all of that eating, he likes to run around and play with his brother and sister. His favorite toys are mice and the ball tower. Leo has done well in a foster home with a dog and would be happiest in a home with another kitty playmate. Could Leo be the perfect fit for you?Location: The Cat Corner (no-kill shelter)85 Fulton StreetHampton, Va. Story
Meet Screech! This handsome man earned his name by screeching whenever he wanted attention. It's his way of letting you know that he wants food, belly rubs, or snuggles. Unlike his siblings, Screech is not a fan of wet food but will absolutely try to take the eggs from your breakfast plate, they're just so tasty! He is energetic and loves to play with hanging toys and tunnels, as well as chasing his siblings around. He makes an excellent inspector and will watch as you clean his litter box so that he knows it has been done properly. You couldn't ask for a better supervisor! Screech has done well in a foster home with a dog and would be happiest in a home with another kitty playmate. Could Screech be the perfect fit for your family?Location: The Cat Corner (no-kill shelter)85 Fulton StreetHampton, Va. Story
We have got the most gorgeous and silky little fluffy tailed gal just waiting for her fur-ever snuggle buddy right here! Misty lives for cuddles, and could spend all day in your lap or by your side, she is filled with purrs the moment you give her a pet! Often times you might even find her nuzzled underneath a soft fleece blanket, like a little human! She has the most kind and gentle demeanor which makes for the best companion, a little affection is all she needs to make the day a good one. Misty is incredibly friendly and personable, so if you’re looking for a loyal kitty to be at your side each day, look no further, she is the one for you! Note, Misty would do best in a calm environment as either an only cat or one other laid back cat.Location: The Cat Corner (no-kill shelter)85 Fulton StreetHampton, Va. Story
Hello there, I'm Tara. I'm not your average feline, I'm a cat with an attitude. I have a mind of my own and I'm not afraid to use it. I'm sassy, smart, and independent. I don't follow the crowd, I make my own rules. I'll let you know when I want attention, and when I've had enough. But don't let my sassiness fool you, I have a soft side too. I love a good chin scratch and a cozy lap to curl up on. I'm looking for a home where my unique personality can shine. If you appreciate a cat with character, then I'm the one for you.
