Meet Ghost - A Serene Soul in Search of a Quiet Haven! Step into the presence of Ghost, a graceful ten-year-old feline who embodies tranquility and serenity. Ghost is not just a cat; she's a refined lady seeking a peaceful retirement home where she can share her gentle spirit and love with a kind and patient family. Personality: Ghost, with her mature grace, tends to favor the art of lounging over energetic play. She is rarely playful, preferring to embrace the calm and laid-back lifestyle befitting her golden years. Despite occasional shyness and moments of fearfulness, Ghost's curiosity and gentle demeanor shine through. Social Interaction: This demure lady gets along with some cats and appreciates the company of dogs. Ghost, although initially shy and inclined to hide, warms up beautifully with time and patience. Her preference for tranquility makes her a suitable companion for a quiet household. Play Preferences: Ghost is not one for toys, but she finds solace and joy in observing the world from a cozy window perch. Her love for lounging is evident, and she treasures the simple pleasures of a serene environment. Interaction with People: Ghost may be new to being around people, but with slow introductions and gentle handling, she is making remarkable progress. This elegant lady absolutely adores being brushed and pampered, melting into bliss with every stroke. She's a cuddle enthusiast and, in particular, delights in having her belly scratched and rubbed. Adoption Considerations: Ghost's ideal home is one that embraces peace and tranquility, making her a perfect fit for a quiet household. While she hasn't been exposed to children, Ghost's gentle nature suggests she would thrive in an environment with older, understanding family members. Her love for being pampered and brushed makes her an ideal companion for those seeking a low-maintenance yet affectionate cat. In Summary: Ghost is not just a cat; she's a timeless soul seeking a serene haven in her golden years. If you're ready to offer a patient and loving home to a feline companion who appreciates the beauty of quiet moments, Ghost is waiting to grace your life with her gentle presence. Come meet Ghost, and let the tranquility begin! Ghost has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative with the feline triple SNAP test.

Story
Meet Samara Wednesday, a delightful 4-year-old cat with an insatiable cuddle addiction. This incredibly affectionate kitty thrives on human contact and is always ready to snuggle up close. Often playful and very energetic, Samara loves chasing toys along the ground and pouncing on anything that catches her eye. Despite her playful nature, she can also be calm and laid back, making her a perfect balance of fun and relaxation. Samara is never shy or fearful; her curiosity knows no bounds. She gets along well with children and adults, even strangers, but has not been exposed to very small children in her foster home. Samara may or may not get along with other cats-it depends on the individual cat-but she absolutely adores kittens. However, she does not get along with dogs. This people-friendly kitty is a social butterfly who loves being handled by humans. Samara is extremely content just lying on or next to her human, always ready to offer comfort and companionship. She would make an excellent companion for someone in need of an emotional support animal, as her nurturing nature is truly special. Samara will even gently stroke your cheek to get attention, showcasing her gentle and loving personality. If you're looking for a devoted, affectionate, and nurturing companion, Samara Wednesday is the perfect addition to your family. Her love for cuddles and her friendly nature will bring warmth and joy to any home.

Story
Willie is such a handsome old man who will need a family willing to be patient with him. He is extremely sweet, but very reserved and skittish. Once he warms up it's hard to keep your paws off this fluff muffin in all his loveliness. Willie is FIV+, has lived on the streets for some time and came into care with a gnarly infected leg wound. Despite his tough life, he's a pretty awesome dude when you get to know him.

Story
For The Cats' Sake BLONDIE is a beautiful kitty who came to us with her adorable kittens when we rescued them from outside an apartment building. She is the sweetest once she trusts someone, and is a tough girl who deserves all the love and security she can get. BLONDIE was an excellent mama cat who took such great care of her babies. We can now stroke her and even pick her up, which is a long way from the semi-feral momma cat she was when we took her in. BLONDIE would make a wonderful pet for someone to win that special trust, and give her a forever home. She does love a little outside space, like a porch or deck, and she's good with other cats. Please fill out our online form if you might be interested in adopting this beauty: https://form.jotform.com/81848821130152   ONLINE ADOPTION FORM:        https://form.jotform.com/81848821130152 We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life. TNR and a whole lot more... November 17, 2024, 1:49 pm
