Story
Coco is a 4-month-old long-haired female kitten with a sweet, affectionate personality. She does wonderfully with other cats and currently lives in our community room alongside 15 feline friends, where she happily socializes and plays. Coco is playful, outgoing, and eager for attention. She greets us as soon as we enter the room, ready for her next cuddle or gentle embrace. While she has not yet been tested with dogs, she would do well in a home with children who understand how to hold and handle kittens properly. With her loving nature and soft, fluffy charm, Coco is sure to make a delightful addition to the right family. Story
Binx is a 8-month-old sweetheart with a soft spirit and a gentle heart. While he may be a little shy at first, once he feels safe and comfortable, his sweet personality starts to shine. He loves quiet moments, gentle playtime, and the comfort of a cozy blanket or a sunny window. Binx has a thoughtful, observant nature—he prefers to take things in before jumping into the action. With a patient adopter and a calm environment, he’ll blossom into a loving, loyal companion. He enjoys the company of other cats and would do best in a home with a friendly feline to help him feel secure and confident. He’s litter box trained, well-mannered, and ready to find a family who understands that the sweetest bonds are the ones built on trust and time. Location & Transport Binx is currently in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or cities along the route. Adoption Application Apply to adopt Binx here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Why We Charge an Adoption Fee Your adoption fee covers vetting, transport, and helps fund our TNR (trap-neuter-return) work. Story
• Name: Charlie • Age: 3.5 years (Born April 15, 2022) • Sex: Male, neutered Charlie is a very affectionate, people-oriented cat who loves to seek out snuggles, and be close to his person. He bonds deeply with his humans and thrives on attention in a calm, predictable environment. Charlie can become nippy at times, not in an aggressive way with people, but he will nip hard when purring and receiving pets - we call these his "love bites". The issue we face with him is that these nips can be hard enough to break skin, so Charlie requires people who know when to pull away, and give space. We have found that with our two young children, they cannot pet him because they do not understand his body language. Ideal Home Requirements (Non-Negotiable) ✔ No other cats ✔ No children under age 13 ✔ Quiet to moderately quiet household ✔ Adults or older children who consistently respect boundaries ✔ Experienced cat owners strongly preferred ✔ May do well with one calm, respectful dog.

Story
Stella was brought to CVHS when her owner was experiencing some health issues, and was no longer able to care for her. She is a bashful but sweet girl, looking for a calm and quiet home where she can spend her golden years. Stella hasn`t had any experience with canines and children, and due to her age and shyer personality would prefer to live without either. She has lived with another feline in the past, and may be ok with a mellow cat-savvy feline with a slow introduction.Stella enjoys being brushed, and she will show her affection for you with soft kisses.

Story
Lola may start off a little shy, but don't let that fool you—once she gets to know you, she’s an absolute sweetheart who will love you forever. She’s a gentle and quiet girl who thrives in a calm environment. Lola especially enjoys back rubs and chest scratches, and she’ll nuzzle in to show her affection once she’s comfortable. Just a heads-up—she’s not a fan of belly rubs, so stick to her back and chest for maximum snuggles! Lola does well with laid-back, not-so-active cats, but she hasn’t been introduced to dogs or other animals yet, so we're not sure how she’d react. If you have a quiet, peaceful home and a little patience, Lola will surely become your loyal companion for years to come. Give her the time she needs to adjust, and she’ll show you just how loving and devoted she can be.   PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application.
