Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $40 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results were provided at intake.*

Story
Hey everyone! We are needing to rehome this sweetheart. Unfortunately her person had to move into an assisted living facility so we are trying to find a good home for her to live out the rest of her life. We estimate that she is about 8-10 years old, we do not believe that she is up to date on any vaccines. She is an absolute sweetheart and would thrive as the only pet in the home. She does great with children of all ages. She tolerates dogs and other cats, as long and they give her space. She is currently eating a mix of wet and dry food and has been using a litter box with paper litter instead of the clay clumping litter. She would come with a litter box, cat litter, litter scoop, the remaining cans of wet cat food and a gallon sized bag of the dry food, and a cat carrier.

Story
Zelda is the sweetest snuggliest girl you will ever meet. She is a Christmas kitten and will turn 13 this year. In her older years, she doesnt seem to want to share her space or litter box with her brother. Once things are calm and she knows her environment and people, she is a little shadow. She loves sleeping on your chest and also LOVES going under the covers for a cuddle. She otherwise very low energy and just loves to nap, get brushed, and get pet by her human. She loves calm and patient kids.
