Story
Meet this sweet, soft-hearted girl who has filled my home with purrs, cuddles, and quiet joy. I first welcomed her into my life when she was just a tiny, curious kitten, and she has grown into a beautifully gentle companion with the kindest little spirit. She’s now around 9-10 months and has truly blossomed into a calm, affectionate, and wonderfully silly cat. She loves sitting by the window to watch the world go by, stretching out in warm sunny spots, and giving slow blinks to anyone who takes a moment to notice her. She’s the kind of cat who enjoys being near you—never demanding, just offering peaceful company and the softest presence. Her little expressions and tiny chirps make her feel like a friend who always understands. I’m looking for a new home that will give her the same love, patience, and comfort she’s known. Someone who will keep her safe indoors, enjoy her sweet personality, and appreciate the gentle way she moves through the world. She would do wonderfully with someon

Story
Hi, I'm Sadie! I'm a very sweet senior girl that was sadly separated from my previous owners at some point. Attempts were made to find them but unfortunately we think I went missing years ago. I haven't had an easy life outside as you can see from some wounds I am healing from, but I am healing! The scars of my nose mean I may not get any hair back there but no special medical care is needed for me at this time. I love getting pets and have the sweetest soft meow when I need to tell you something. I would do great in a home where I can chill and relax and give you love. Put in an application to meet me today!

Story
Pleasure to meet you. I'm Emerson and I'm just an all around nice guy. I'm even good with other cats and cat savvy smallish dogs. I'm a pretty calm, docile guy. I don't mind being picked up or sitting in laps, but I do prefer a quieter, less hectic home. Please come meet me. With my soft gorgeous fluffy fur and my adorable little white spot on my nose, you won't be able to NOT take me home!!If you would like to adopt a pet, please visit us at any of our adoption sites during regular business hours. You can view adoption hours and locations at this link: https://www.texaslittercontrol.org/adoption-sites.htmlIf you are interested in a specific cat you have found on Petfinder, please email adoptions@texaslittercontrol.org to find out which adoption site the cat/kitten is being housed. Our cat adoption fee is $35.All pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, and micro-chipped.  All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and dogs are tested for heartworms.TLC mostly rescues cats, but we work with many other groups.  If you don't see the cat or dog you are looking for on our site, send us an email to adoptions@texaslittercontrol.org and we will help you look.  Adoption takes time and you want the right pet for your home!  Don't resort to buying from a breeder.  We can find you the right new best friend!Texas Litter Control has 3 low cost spay/neuter and wellness clinics for cats and dogs. The revenue from these clinics supports our adoption program. Please consider updating your vaccinations with us and help us save lives!

Story
Hello, We have been caring for a cat that originally belonged to our neighbor. The neighbor moved away and left him behind, we took him in, provided food, and gave him a safe place to stay. He is a calm, well-behaved cat who spends most of his time indoors. He does not scratch furniture and is fully litter-trained. He is gentle and does not bite—just a little shy at first. He enjoys being brushed and likes attention, although he doesn’t like being held for too long. He goes outside occasionally, and we always let him out when he asks. After a short while, he reliably comes back home. He sometimes throws up hairballs, which is normal for long-haired cats, but otherwise he seems healthy and easy to care for. We love him very much. However, we are moving out of the country soon and unfortunately cannot bring him with us. We are hoping to find a responsible organization or family who can give him a safe, loving home.
