Story
I have cared for Rosie since she was a kitten and is now 5.5 years old. She was raised with another kitten that passed away from FELV. Rosie is also FELV positive but has always been healthy/ without symptoms. This past year I’ve had a partner in my life and we tried integrating our cat families and it has been difficult for Rosie. Rosie is very loving and kind but prefers to not have to compete or feel threatened of her space by other cats. There have now been five instances over the course of seven months where her aggression resulted in myself or my partner becoming injured. We have tried many approaches to remedy the situation but ultimately realized she is happiest at home alone with her caretaker. This breaks my heart because outside of triggered events, she is nothing but the sweetest girl I’ve always loved. I just now have to come to terms with the fact I am not truly making her life as good as it can be. Adoption fee is to ensure committed responsible home and is negotiable.

RTH minimum adoption age is 25 years old. APPLICATION REQUIRED (COPY & PASTE THIS LINK) https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RTH/Cat Date of Birth: 07/26/2025 Location: Conroe, Texas (Transport will be arranged once adopted, the adoption fee includes cost of transport.) Meet Harriet — A Gentle Girl with a Soft Heart Harriet is a sweet, shy little tabby who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. With her beautiful striped coat, soft white paws, and expressive eyes, she’s the kind of kitten who melts your heart the moment you see her. Harriet might be reserved at first, but she’s already showing how much she appreciates gentle affection. A soft touch or quiet companionship helps her relax, and once she feels comfortable, she leans into pets and begins to show her tender, trusting side. She’s the type of cat who will form a deep bond with someone patient and kind. She would thrive in a calm home where she can unfold at her own pace, with humans who understand that shy kittens often become the most loyal and loving companions of all. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted kitten who just needs a little reassurance to shine, Harriet might be the perfect match for you. In State Texas Adoption Fee - $125 Out of State Adoption Fee - $300 (this includes transport cost.) **Note - RTH enforces a strict spay/neuter policy. All pets adopted from RTH must be spay/neutered. An additional spay/neuter deposit applies to all pets that are adopted prior to being altered.

Third Coast Pets Alive! Sadly, Kiki’s family made the difficult decision to surrender her to Third Coast Pets Alive so she could have a chance at a wonderful new life. Once a cherished member of their home, Kiki now finds herself living in a 3-tier kitty condo, and her foster mom can’t bear the thought of her spending her days in confinement. Kiki deserves a home where she can roam freely, stretch out, and soak up all the love, cuddles, and attention her new family has to give.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
