Story
Binx is a 8-month-old sweetheart with a soft spirit and a gentle heart. While he may be a little shy at first, once he feels safe and comfortable, his sweet personality starts to shine. He loves quiet moments, gentle playtime, and the comfort of a cozy blanket or a sunny window. Binx has a thoughtful, observant nature—he prefers to take things in before jumping into the action. With a patient adopter and a calm environment, he’ll blossom into a loving, loyal companion. He enjoys the company of other cats and would do best in a home with a friendly feline to help him feel secure and confident. He’s litter box trained, well-mannered, and ready to find a family who understands that the sweetest bonds are the ones built on trust and time. Location & Transport Binx is currently in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or cities along the route. Apply to adopt Binx here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Why We Charge an Adoption Fee: Your adoption fee covers vetting, transport, and helps fund our TNR (trap-neuter-return) work. Each adoption sponsors a spay/neuter and two vaccines for a homeless Houston cat—saving two lives with every adoption.

Story
Hello, We have been caring for a cat that originally belonged to our neighbor. The neighbor moved away and left him behind, we took him in, provided food, and gave him a safe place to stay. He is a calm, well-behaved cat who spends most of his time indoors. He does not scratch furniture and is fully litter-trained. He is gentle and does not bite—just a little shy at first. He enjoys being brushed and likes attention, although he doesn’t like being held for too long. He goes outside occasionally, and we always let him out when he asks. After a short while, he reliably comes back home. He sometimes throws up hairballs, which is normal for long-haired cats, but otherwise he seems healthy and easy to care for. We love him very much. However, we are moving out of the country soon and unfortunately cannot bring him with us. We are hoping to find a responsible organization or family who can give him a safe, loving home.

Story
Popo is a very playful 9 month old, 13 lb kitten. He has a high pitched meow. Popo is a Harlequin tabby. His fur is silky soft and doesn't shed. Popo is high energy and very easy to play with or distract with a toy. He likes trying to play with the female cats who don't want to play with him. He does sometimes bite his foster humans when they handle him in a way he doesn't like which sometimes draws blood. He is an affectionate cat to his foster humans and he likes face cuddling when the humans touch their face to his face. He even cuddles stranger humans. He sleeps when the humans aren't home. He sleeps next to their heads sometimes. He is a purr machine when he is scratched by his humans or when he is cuddling with them. He likes being cradled upside down (like a baby). He tries to cuddle with the female cats but they aren't as affectionate as he is. He is great with kids. A home with another male cat would be great for him or possibly with an energetic dog.
