Story
Meet Akira (Black Tuxedo) and Saiga (Grey/White), 12-year-old bonded long-haired cats who have been best friends since age 1. Akira is a talkative social butterfly who loves attention and lounging by windows but prefers her space around dogs. Saiga is calm and affectionate, thriving in quiet environments and even bonding with our American Bulldog in the past. Both shy away from crowds but quickly warm up to gentle, pet-loving strangers. Due to family allergies, we are heartbreakingly seeking a loving home where they can stay together. They’re healthy, up-to-date on shots, and require weekly combing or an occasional shave every few months keeps them knot-free and comfortable. To ease their transition, we’re including their food, litter boxes, automatic feeders, waterer, cat tree, and grooming supplies. If you’re looking for a sweet, bonded pair to fill your home with love and companionship, Akira and Saiga are ready to brighten your life.

Story
Hi there! I'm Blitzen, a brave and playful black kitten who’s ready to steal your heart. I’m a big boy with a personality to match—I love to run, jump, and explore every corner of the house! My cleverness shines when it comes to finding my litter box; no matter where I am, I always manage to locate it. I love to play with my kitten siblings, as well as my larger furry friends, including the big cats and dogs. There's never a dull moment with me around! But when playtime winds down, I’m definitely ready for some cuddles. I enjoy curling up with my kitten siblings or snuggling up close to my human family for a cozy nap. If you’re looking for an adorable bundle of energy who also knows how to relax in style, I’m your guy! I can’t wait to meet you and become part of your family! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Skye is bonded to Peychaud and they must be adopted together. They have a 3rd sibling, Whiskey, but he does not need to be adopted with them. She and her siblings were all dumped outside where a really nice lady trapped them and had them fixed. Thankfully, we were able to help and got them inside before a cold front hit. Skye is very shy and reserved. She relys on Peychaud for reassuance and to feel safe. She has adjusted really well to being indoors only. She has excellent litter box manners and uses a scratching post well. These 3 babies were definitely someone’s pets at one time, but for some unknown reason, they were dumped and left to fend for themselves. They are great with other cats and are tolerant of dogs. We do not believe they will do well in a home with small children as they prefer a quiet environment. If you’re interested in meeting them, please fill out an application on NTCR’s website.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR, please email us at surrenderNTCRcat@northtexascatrescue.com.December 15, 2024, 1:30 pm
