Story
Mandy was rescued along with her sister and both were pregnant. The plan was to let her go back outside after she was through nursing. She became this sweet and sassy cat there was no way she was going back outside. She would do well in a home with older kids or just adults. She is a quiet cat, does not seem to be afraid of crated dogs. She would of course like any cat, need time for adjustment. But once she is settled in, you will have a beautiful and sweet cat. She is fully vetted.

Story
Melvin is a five-year-old domestic long hair cat, with a gray and white tuxedo coat. My late wife and I adopted him when he was three months old. As a kitten he was affectionate and playful, both toward the other cats and toward us. But for some reason that we could ever understand, as he matured into an adult cat he lost his socialization with us, particularly with me. He has always continued to get along well with the other cats. Following the death of my wife, I have moved into a new home to be closer to my son and daughter-in-law. I moved the other cats, but Melvin was basically alone in a mostly empty house for several weeks—I was there every day to give him food, water, and clean litter. I have now moved Melvin into my new house with the other cats. I’m making progress with resocializing him to me, but he’s been through a hard time. I believe that in a new home he would get along well with new people and bond with them, and he would have the happy home that he should.

Story
Meet Torenia! Torenia is a super sweet and mild mannered lady born late 2022. Torenia was pregnant and scared when dumped in a strange area in the July Texas heat. Luckily she found a shady spot behind a shed and a good samaritan found her and got her to the vet. Once at the vet, she was found to be severely malnourished and unfortunately her babies did not survive. During her recovery her foster was able to see what a lovely personality she has.She can be shy at first, but will warm up nicely if acclimated slowly. She is learning cat behavior and needs someone that will practice patience with her. She gives thanks for her wet food by nuzzling your hand every single time. She needs a human she can trust again. She does play by herself, but enjoys playing chase with the other kitties. She would do well with a playmate about her age or a human that can give her plenty of playtime. She isn’t a fan of dogs. Story
Greetings! I’m Clarence. I am in search of a new forever, I’m hoping for a calm, kind and gentle family. I’m a sweet Maine Coon mix born in 2016. I’m told I have an expressive and amusing face. I get along with my furry foster siblings, both feline and canine, I even let the kittens cuddle with me. I like older children, very little ones can be a little rough and I don’t enjoy being man handled. However, I love being pet and brushed. I am affectionate and enjoy a good head bump. I like contact when you’re near and will reach out if you don’t. I use my paws a lot, I even let my foster hold them and tolerate when she trims my nails as long as she is gentle. I’ll snuggle up while you sleep and keep you company when you watch TV. I am independent and can entertain myself as long as I have a window to gaze through, and the occasional toy, but I like people and want/require some attention. Clarence is vetted and has excellent litter manners. He is on a prescription diet and eats out of raised bowls. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications.
