Story
"A Series of Unfortunate Events" have led to these siblings, Violet & Klaus, to search for their place in this world. Having been abandoned in a crate outside in the June weather, he has lost his trust in humans. We can see his desire for comfort & companionship; however, his fear wins out. His ideal home is a quiet environment where he can take as long as needed to adjust and gain his confidence back. He is litter box trained, neutered, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccines, and is on flea prevention. If you are looking to add to your family, you can adopt the handsome Klaus into your heart for $50. **Adoption Center Policy: All cats must be INDOOR ONLY and shall NOT be declawed.**

Story
Smokey was originally my Grandmother's cat who came to live with us in September 2023 when my grandmother passed away. She is 8 years old and for the first 7 years of her life lived with elderly people (my grandparents) and one other cat. She is vaccinated and spayed. She is a fully indoor cat currently, but has all her claws. When she came to live with us she was introduced to living with kids and dogs! She is a very affectionate cat who loves attention and petting. She would do best in a home whose humans are home more than we are and who sit still long enough to pet her more often than we do. She isn't a big fan of dogs, but she tolerates them, just doesn't get too close to them or let them get too close to her. She loves attention from our kids, but hasn't fully adjusted to their unpredictable, rapid body movements, so she'd do best with older children or no children. Finally, we learned our son is allergic to cats. Thus, we would like to find a new loving home for her.

Story
Meet Annabel Contact us at SilverRescue@gmail.com for an application. Annabel is a beautiful Dilute Tortoiseshell. She may be mixed with the Main Coon breed. She is a silky longhair. She is approximately 3 yrs old and weighs around 11 lbs. She is sweet. She will meow sweetly for her food and petting or just to say Hello! She loves scratches between her ears and strokes along the top of her body but doesn't need much else. She loves sitting with you but is not much on laps. If you are a busy person who doesn't sit much, this may be the cat for you. She loves sitting in the window, she loves napping (what cat doesn't). She enjoys playing with her person with a feather wand but also easily entertains her self. Annabel is ok with older calm dogs but not active younger dogs. She coexists with them but does not snuggle with them. At first she is a little shy when meeting a new person or when put in unfamiliar places. But she is soon happy and loving once she knows she can trust you. If you’re interested in making sweet Annabel your own contact us at SilverRescue@gmail.com for an application. Annabel will be adopted to an inside only forever home. Application, references, vet check, home visit required. Annabel’s adoption donation of $100 will help the next needy kitty. Thank You!
