Hi! I'm Roberta, but you can call me Berta, Bertie B or Bertie Butt. Per the cat distribution system, I was assigned to my foster mom in August 2024. It took some time, but I'm officially ready to find my fur-ever home! I'm a little shy but once I open up, I'll be your best friend. I'm nosey curious and love humans, so watch where you walk cause I am always one step directly in front of you! Or behind you…or next to you. I'm fluffy, love being held and can take a good petting. You can tell when I'm really enjoying pets cause I start to drool. I'm still a kid so I love to play; feather toys and hiding behind objects to jump scare my human are some of my favorites. I get along with cats but experienced some bullying so please be patient when introducing me to others. I also wouldn't mind being an only cat, as long as I have a human around, I'm happy. I really am one heck of a cat.

This bonded pair were adopted once before and returned because they were not social enough, but we think they just need someone who understands them! Whiskers is more outgoing than Main and she will lounge around near humans, but does not like to be handled. Both Whiskers and Main are very food motivated, making it easy to get near them for socialization opportunities. Cat-friendly. This new friend has just arrived! They have come to us either as a transfer from another shelter, being found as a stray, or have been surrendered to us by their owner. When our friends are new to us, we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, comfort with handling, or experience with other pets or children. Our staff will spend some time reviewing any information provided by previous owners and spend some time with our new friend so that we can better update their biography. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Trixie is a three month old long-haired kitten who loves to play! Her absolute favorite toy is a spring, and it keeps her entertained for quite a while. Trixie also enjoys playing with her brother Norton (FCID# 11/14/2024 - 525), and she would really love to find a forever home with him. She takes a few minutes to get warmed up to new people, but she quickly adjusts to show you her playful demeanor.  Trixie enjoys both wet and dry food. Norton is a three month old long-haired kitten who is a bit catious. He may take some time to feel comfortable with new people, but once he does, he’s ready to explore. He can’t resist playing with a feather toy on a wand, and he also loves playing with his sister Trixie (FCID# 11/14/2024 - 525). He hopes to go to a forever home with her. Norton also enjoys back rubs and will purr to let you know it.  Norton enjoys both wet and dry food. He has not met young children, dogs, or other cats in his foster home.
