Mary is a wonderfully sweet and playful kitten beginning her search for her perfect family. She is a bit timid around new people, but if you give her a little bit of time and patience, she will blossom into such a great kitten and become quite affectionate. Mary hails from a very large colony of cats and kittens and does well with the other kittens and cats in her foster home. She does have some close friends in her foster home; however, her best bud seems to be Peter. They get along very well and play most of the time together, she will need to be adopted with him. Her fur had to be shaved some to remove the mats and burrs she had from her days of outside living, but once it is all grown back, she is going to be even more beautiful. She loves all the good things in life, lasers, chirping bird toys, and playing tag with her friends. She may do best in a home without small children as they seem to make her nervous.
Please note: Cats and kittens are social creatures and greatly benefit from being with other pets; therefore, kittens under the age of 6 months cannot be adopted as single pets.
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80
Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.
If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
