Story
Approx DOB: May 2024 Mary is a wonderfully sweet and playful kitten beginning her search for her perfect family. She is a bit timid around new people, but if you give her a little bit of time and patience, she will blossom into such a great kitten and become quite affectionate. Mary hails from a very large colony of cats and kittens and does well with the other kittens and cats in her foster home. She does have some close friends in her foster home; however, her best bud seems to be Peter. They get along very well and play most of the time together, she will need to be adopted with him. Her fur had to be shaved some to remove the mats and burrs she had from her days of outside living, but once it is all grown back, she is going to be even more beautiful. She loves all the good things in life, lasers, chirping bird toys, and playing tag with her friends. She may do best in a home without small children as they seem to make her nervous. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are: Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125 Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100 Seniors (8+ years) = $80 Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations. If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Story
Approx DOB: July 2024 When Peter first came into his foster home, his beautiful fur was all matted and flea bitten, but now, he is turning into the most gorgeous kitten, with such a sweet and loving personality to match. He loves his friends, his wet food snacks, belly rubs and the laser most. Peter came in with several kittens from his colony, but seems to spend the most time with his buddy Mary, and would love to be adopted with her. Peter is a bit timid of strangers at first, but warms up easily when given the chance. Please note: Cats and kittens are social creatures and greatly benefit from being with other pets; therefore, kittens under the age of 6 months cannot be adopted as single pets. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Story
Approx DOB: 2018 Druscilla, or Dru for short, is hoping to find a low-key, quiet home that will give her the time and patience she needs to adjust. Dru initially came to her foster home with a lot of weariness towards people. She had no interest in letting anyone get close. Although Dru is still a bit nervous, she has made much progress. She able to relax and has even started playing. Dru grumbles a bit with petting but has made a lot of progress with that too. We’ve found that the key to her heart is canned cat food! If you are interested in adopting Dru and have a home without dogs, other cats, or kids, please complete an application! All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Story
Ms. Mimi is a cozy, low-key cat. She greets you at the door with a meow and follows you around until you sit down and let her jump up so she can be pet. She likes to burrow her head into the crook of your army too. She'll sleep on your bed every night, and when you watch TV on the couch, she'll be by your side or on the back of the couch by your head. If you're working in the office she will want to be on your lap or on the desk with you. She also likes giving headbutts to people she loves. Her hobbies include lying in sunbeams, cat napping, looking out the window, or supervised trips in the backyard. She doesn't go far or out for long but she likes to sniff around when given the chance. She likes to roll in catnip or pounce on a catnip toy if you toss it. She also prefers those cheap little cardboard scratching boxes you can find at Target. She She is indifferent to other cats, but you'll need two if they are territorial about the litter box.

Story
MURRAY is the perfect cat - super chill and very loving. It’s so painful for me to let him go, but I can’t pay my rent and I want him to be safe and cared for. Murray is 3 years old and had always lived with other cats and dogs. He loves to be petted and brushed, but is not so keen on having his nails clipped. Murray is mostly silent, but has a very high-pitched meow when he sees a can of food. He eats wet and dry food, and he has a tendency to kick litter all around the box (so a covered or high-walled litterbox is a good idea). Murray is unfixed and likely never had shots, but he is very healthy.

Story
Grace's Birthday: June 28 2014 Frankie's Birthday: June 28, 2015 Would you believe that these two girls are mother and daughter? It's true!  They were rescued by LCCR shortly after their owner passed away. They've always been together, and they want to keep it that way!  That's why they're searching for a quiet home with a family to dote on! They don't consider themselves lap cats, but they are incredibly affectionate despite it!  They'd do anything to sit close to you!  They don't even mind older cats if there are some waiting for them in their new home!  But kitties? They can't keep up with those high-energy nuggets of joy!  These two girls will play with each other, whether it's a bit of string or chewing on ribbon!  They love their cardboard scratching pads and sisal rope!  And these girls always need to look good for you!  So they take their grooming regime very seriously!  And by seriously, we mean they'll go nuts!   Momma Frankie is the orange and gray tortie who's sporting some sweet white sockets and gloves!  She even has a white bib to tie the whole look together!  Her fur is as soft as silk, and her flat face is just too much to resist!  One glance at those golden eyes and she has you hooked!  She's an outgoing girl, who loves to sleep in her foster's bed, snuggled up, or by a window where she can soak up some rays.   Grace is a bit of a goofball!  She'll hide in her foster's laundry hamper and on the dining table, where she knows she'll get those amazing pets!  She's just as eye-catching as her mother, flaunting off her long and beautifully blended coat of gray and buff.  You can't find a better dilute calico with such as sparkling personality!  She's just as affectionate as her mother, and her purring is renowned to melt hearts!   Frankie and Grace's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. If you would like more information on Frankie and Grace, please contact Christine at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/  Please note:  LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed.  All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.If you are interested in adopting this kitty, please fill out the online application at https://alovingcarecatrescue.org/adoptionapplication.html November 7, 2024, 8:23 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Jessica (jesswalton.jw@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.aHi! I am Bianca, currently the only long-haired cat at Castaway Critters! I was found outside after I had a litter of kittens, and my finder took me right away to get medical treatment before surrendering me to find my fur-ever family! Hopefully that is you! I spend my days now on the counter at The Blue Dog Pet Shop, where I monitor the staff to ensure they are doing their jobs. I am also referred to as 'Queen Bianca' because I am a diva. I do enjoy playing with toys and like to co-exist with the cats and dog at the pet store. I like human affection but have no problems with letting you know when I've had enough!  Being a long-haired cat does require some grooming, so please be experienced or willing to learn how to properly take care of my fur.  I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and have tested negative for FIV/Leukemia. I have also been treated for fleas & worms.  If you have more questions about me, please email at info@castawaycritters.org or apply for me directly at www.castawaycritters.org/adoptVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2024, 10:53 pm
