Story
This gorgeous girl is Juliet born June 2023. She had a rough start to life being born outside fending for herself, so she is shy with new people. Once she trusts you she becomes a very sweet, playful, affectionate girl who will come to you for attention. Juliet loves to play with her toys and the other kitties. She joined a litter of 3 kitties at her foster home, so she could have kitty friends. She will sit with her people, and purrs the whole time. Juliet loves being brushed, so keeping her beautiful fur in top condition is a breeze! Juliet would be best in a quiet home with someone that understands it will take time for her to adjust and will let her be who she is. Once she gets to know you she will become very outgoing and affectionate. Juliet is such an amazing kitty and will win a place in your heart. She will be adopted with her friend Judy. Juliet is still very shy with new people. She also need to be groomed daily to keep her fur mat free. $100 adoption fee per kitten. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes. The $100 adoption fee per cat insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.

Story
Meow!! I'm a high energy, hyper friendly cat named Nala! I'm talkative and I love attention! I'm super fluffy but I currently am missing my fur pants since it seems like I'm allergic to some foods and will overgroom myself. I'm on a hypoallergenic diet and that is seeming to help. A cat in my previous home was picking on me and here in the shelter it looks like I really don't want to share space with cats. I would love to be your one and only sweetheart! I can get overstimulated if I see other cats or get stressed so a home with very young children would not be best for me. My foster mom reports I love to cuddle and I am a lap sitter! I'm a magnet cat. I like to sleep on her pillow by her head at night.I love feather toys and I have a lot of energy. I'm not very mischievous and I leave house plants alone. I like perching high and watching out windows.I'm in a foster home so if you woudl like to meet me please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org.My estimated birthdate is 4/1/2021.

Story
Rebel is a 3 year old beautiful long haired Grey cat with the most stunning green eyes. She absolutely loves to be brushed and if you need a way to destress after work, she will lay there for as long as you will brush her! She loves to chase wand toys and will jump as high as the sky to grab the toy at the end of the string.    She was originally adopted out from another Rescue but, decided she didn't like the changes happening within her new family and was relinquished back to the Rescue. The rescue was also struggling to deal with her behavior and they reached out to Jessica, one of our fosters who deals with these types of situations because they knew she could help! Jessica got Rebel on some medications to treat her anxiety about change and new people and within a month her behavior was leaps and bounds better. She had settled down, and was becoming the sweet cat that she had originally been when she was adopted out at 10 weeks.   Rebel will need to stay on these meds, but they are not expensive and she will be able to have them picked up at the vet or mailed to your home. She also happily takes them with a pill popper and Jessica will show you how she readily takes them. Rebel is looking for an adult only home, so that she has the stability and quiet she has always dreamed of having. If you think you would like to be her ideal place for a mixture of play and security please put in an application and Jessica will give you a call to discuss more details. She really is an amazing cat! $85.00 adoption fee - Indoor only home.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Meet 6-year old Spencer, who is looking for a family and a place to call home. He is an indoor/outdoor cat who likes to be mostly indoors in winter. He enjoys sitting on laps, or nearby, and likes attention. He plays with fake mice, balls (even wadded up paper), and interactive toys, and has been known to watch tv. Like most cats, he needs to have a scratching pad! (And a LARGE litter box, as he is quite long.)   He is/was my mom's cat, but she now lives in a nursing facility, so she can't keep him, and neither can we.   The vet has recommended special food for his digestion (Science Diet w/d) My mom mixed it 50/50 with regular dry cat food. We are only feeding him regular cat food right now, and he seems to be doing fine.   We are not sure whether he does well with other cats. He lived with another cat friend previously, but doesn't get along well with our cat. He has a place to stay dry, but it is located outside and winter is coming, so he needs a new family soon. Thanks for considering this guy!  Rehoming fee is $25.  This cat lives in Mehama, outside of Salem.     This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
