Story
Beautiful Belladonna La Floof, born January 2022, was found as a stray on a farm. Can you imagine this beautiful kitty fending for herself? Look at her gorgeous eyes and fluffy coat -- this girl is not a barn cat. Belladonna La Floof is shy and will need a patient adopter. Belladonna would not do well with small bouncy children. She loves snackies. Snackies will be the way to her heart. Once she acclimates to her new family, you will get to hear her purrrr. Bella doesn't really like to share, so she needs to be an only pet. With proper acclimation, Belladonna with thrive and you will have saved a kitty from a rough life. Bella is being fostered in Clackamas, Oregon. $100 adoption fee per adult cat. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes. The $100 adoption fee per cat ensures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.

Story
Meet Honey! Honey is a timid, petite cat. She came from a difficult situation and is still a bit fearful and is taking time to decompress and learn how to cat. She has made much progress and will now come for pets to her foster and can be picked up.  She will stilll need a parent who is patient with her and has one or more other cats (preferably her sister Meredith). She is very outgoing and relaxed around other cats. She looks to them for direction and learns from their behavior. Once she trusts you, she will let you pet her and love on her.  With lots of love and trust, she will bloom. She just needs someone to give her a chance and some time. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location.  Here is a link to the application: https://tinyurl.com/KeithasKittiesApplication   ##1774582##

Story
Vinnie Bobarino is a beautiful fluffy ball of love! He is crazy for the cat laser, fish in the tank and anything that moves (especially birds)! If you need a pal who is content hanging by himself but also is aware of his persons emotions then this is your boy! He is happy to jump up in your lap and snuggle but prefers to not be trapped. He is always ready to protect his brother but gets along great with the other cats in the home! Vinnie seems to enjoy the dogs but doesn’t hesitate to assert his dominance. Although this guy prefers a more private space he is litter box trained and keeps his space tidy! Vinnie loves children, all food ( hopefully you enjoy sharing) sunny days and meal times. Because all of our kitties are in foster homes we do visitations with our cats with pre-approved adoption applications. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location.  Here is a link to the application: https://tinyurl.com/KeithasKittiesApplication ##1948492##

Story
Fish is a loving cat, good with kids, loves interacting, greets guest at the front door, gets along with other cats and is a strong hunter. He is 90% on the litter box success occasionally missing the mark. He is food motivated and probably should not be free fed. Has a strong desire to be outdoors. I think he would be better suited to protect a barn than lounge on my couch.
