Story
Hello, My name is Cornelius. I am a special boy looking for some special people to help me live my best life. I came to OFOSA injured and incontinent from that injury. I have a limp but I am mobile and love to climb but do need to wear diapers. You can see me in some of my cute diapers in my pictures. I only have a stub left of my tail that might make me look even cuter, but I don`t care, I can`t feel it anyway. I love people and love playing. I don`t like when people are trying to do something to me while I am trying to play and get pet, such as put on my diaper, bathe me, or trim my nails. But, I am doing great with getting distracted with a treat while getting my diaper put on. I am a very busy young man so as long as you give me enough playtime I will also sit next to you for a petting session. If you pet my head I will be your best friend. And I am a bit of a goofball so will make you laugh often. Do you like big cats? Perfect, I am about 13 pounds.Do you like to laugh? I can certainly make that happen. I am a goofball.Do you like cats with lots of fur? Great, I have very fluffy paws and a cute poof of hair on my tail as well as plenty of other soft, thick fur to pet.Do you hate cleaning litter boxes? Well, I don`t need one. You will have to change my diapers though.Do you like to dress up cats? Since I wear diapers, you can get my washable diapers is so many different colors and designs.Cats: Yes, but I kinda bug other cats sometimes, so looking for young playful cats like me to live with.Dogs: Probably notKids: Older or adult onlySpecial: Incontinent. Wears diapers when free roaming. Has a slight limp but very mobile. Needs regular sanitary trims of groin area due to long fur and being incontinent.

Story
Rebel is a 3 year old beautiful long haired Grey cat with the most stunning green eyes. She absolutely loves to be brushed and if you need a way to destress after work, she will lay there for as long as you will brush her! She loves to chase wand toys and will jump as high as the sky to grab the toy at the end of the string.    She was originally adopted out from another Rescue but, decided she didn't like the changes happening within her new family and was relinquished back to the Rescue. The rescue was also struggling to deal with her behavior and they reached out to Jessica, one of our fosters who deals with these types of situations because they knew she could help! Jessica got Rebel on some medications to treat her anxiety about change and new people and within a month her behavior was leaps and bounds better. She had settled down, and was becoming the sweet cat that she had originally been when she was adopted out at 10 weeks.   Rebel will need to stay on these meds, but they are not expensive and she will be able to have them picked up at the vet or mailed to your home. She also happily takes them with a pill popper and Jessica will show you how she readily takes them. Rebel is looking for an adult only home, so that she has the stability and quiet she has always dreamed of having. If you think you would like to be her ideal place for a mixture of play and security please put in an application and Jessica will give you a call to discuss more details. She really is an amazing cat! $85.00 adoption fee - Indoor only home.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 11:26 pm

Story
Lani is a loving 6-year old cat with the cutest meows and is in great health. She is a long haired Siberian mix.  Lani is well behaved, doesn’t go to the bathroom outside the litter box and doesn’t scratch anything other than her scratchers. She loves to play, whether it is with her laser or feather wand or anything else. She loves to cuddle and purr you to sleep.  She loves paper bags, a full pet from head to tail, having her long hair brushed, catnip, gravy and Churu treats. It should be noted that she does not get along with other animals and needs stability/calmness at home. She is indoor but likes to go outside for short period under supervision sometimes.   Due to unforeseen circumstances I will be moving overseas and heartbreakingly cannot take my loving cat with me. We have built a strong bond and it is very hard to part with her but she won’t be happy in the environment I will have to move to and it is necessary to find her a forever home that she will be comfortable in.    Lani lives in Portland with her owner and her adoption fee is $50   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Meow!! I'm a high energy, hyper friendly cat named Nala! I'm talkative and I love attention! I'm super fluffy but I currently am missing my fur pants since it seems like I'm allergic to some foods and will overgroom myself. I'm on a hypoallergenic diet and that is seeming to help. A cat in my previous home was picking on me and here in the shelter it looks like I really don't want to share space with cats. I would love to be your one and only sweetheart! I can get overstimulated if I see other cats or get stressed so a home with very young children would not be best for me. My foster mom reports I love to cuddle and I am a lap sitter! I'm a magnet cat. I like to sleep on her pillow by her head at night.I love feather toys and I have a lot of energy. I'm not very mischievous and I leave house plants alone. I like perching high and watching out windows.I'm in a foster home so if you woudl like to meet me please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org.My estimated birthdate is 4/1/2021.

Story
Paris Texas is a stunning girl with the fluffiest, softest, most beautiful coat around! This sweet girl is a professional cuddle bug and would love nothing more than to be attached at your hip 24/7. She is the easiest going girl who truly just enjoys being around her people! Fall in love here https://youtu.be/7PpBKzhD0lE?feature=shared Paris is the queen of biscuits and will purr contently as you pet her all over. She also loves to be brushed as well! Paris did have to have a few teeth pulled due to poor care living on the streets, so now her tongue hangs out of her mouth a little! We think this makes her even cuter!! Paris is an FIV+ kitty! But all this means is she has a lower immune system than a typical kitty. She doesn't require any extra care besides routine annual checkups with her vet. She willing loads up into her carrier so vet visits will be a breeze! Paris is currently fostered with several dogs and isn't phased by their barking or presence. We think she could coexist well with a cat savvy dog. Paris is looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. If you’re ready to give this sweet girl a chance to thrive, she’s excited to find her forever family! Story
Meet Victoria! Victoria is a gorgeous brown long-haired tabby with the cutest fuzzy paws! This affectionate girl will curl up in your lap, ask for pets, and even make biscuits on you! She is sweet and gentle with beautiful kitty manners. She’s a mature lady with a peaceful disposition. She enjoys being doted on and cannot wait to join your family! She loves to roll on her back for belly rubs and has an adorable bobcat-like appearance with her pointy ears and long whiskers. The perfect cuddle buddy for cozy nights on the couch, she also enjoys roaming the house and keeping an eye on the world outside from the window. Victoria did have to have a few teeth pulled due to poor care living on the streets, so her only diet request is to have soft food so she can get all her nutrients! Victoria is currently fostered with several other adult cats. She does fabulous coexisting with all the other cats! We believe she would flourish with another cat or as an only kitty. She is looking for a quiet, calm home environment to relax and sleep in between her two meals a day, which she will be sure to remind you of! If you're looking for a loving companion to brighten your home, Victoria is ready to bring joy and warmth to your life! Don’t miss out on this pretty girl! We got her as a companion for our older cat at the beginning of Covid. Our older cas has since passed and we will be moving and no longer able to keep her. She does well with cats but has never been around dogs or children. She is a very sweet cat but is very shy around new people at first.
