Story
Pete is a wonderful and sweet boy. He is an exceptional cuddler and wants to lay on you for pets. He is 2 years old coming up in Feb 2025. Pete is very aggressive towards my other, older cat. It is almost vicious in some instances. It isn't fair to my other cat to endure the abuse. It's only gotten worse over time. Pete is very affectionate with my daughter. They are best friends and this is what makes this so difficult for our family. He is so so sweet, loves to snuggle and doesn't like to take no for an answer. He will sleep with you all night. He doesn't mind our dog, but also doesn't seek out anything from her. A family with no other cats would be best for Pete to thrive in.

Story
JUICE is one of the BIGGEST most handsome boys we have come across in many years of rescue. The photos do not do him justice or show what a big guy he is. He reminds us of a lion keeping watch over his pride! Juice is a snuggler with both his people and his buddy Sebastian (who is most likely either a brother or son). They play well together and you will often find them cuddled up giving each other baths on the couch. We would like to see them adopted together as Sebastian is the shyer boy and looks to Juice for comfort and encouragement. They DO NOT like dogs. If you have a dog or are planning to adopt one in future, please keep scrolling! They are ok with other cat friendly felines. If you would like more information on this pretty duo - please https://www.felinefriends.ca/foster-and-adoptioncomplete the short online adoption inquiry form and a volunteer will be in touch. Story
Sebastian is the loyal sidekick of JUICE. They've had a bit of a rough time when we found them living outdoors. An upper respiratory infection is the likely cause of an eye problem that required a specialized surgery to correct. Sebastian is a trooper though and his eye is now much more comfortable. He requires a daily moisturizing eye drop (inexpensive over the counter drop from the pharmacy) to keep his eye comfortable and may occasionally need a prescription drop (which we will send home with him to get you started). Otherwise these two boys are playful, sweet and loving with their people and each other. They have a preference for a home with no canines but get along with other cats. They would do well with older children. Sebastian is shy until he is comfortable with you so looks to JUICE for reassurance and comfort. Adoption fee includes neuter. vaccines. parasite prevention and microchip. If you would like to hear more about them please complete the short online adoption inquiry form and a volunteer will be in touch - link attached. https://www.felinefriends.ca/foster-and-adoption

Story
Isolde is a beautiful gal, in appearance and personality. She is chatty and loves to tell you when she needs some loving. She is playful, but prefers a quiet game batting the toy around to rough housing with her siblings. She loves to be brushed and will need that maintenance to keep her long locks smooth and unmatted. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and will come with a voucher for her spay at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the spay surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!
