Story
GERRY, M/N, DLH, WHITE/BLACKBORN MAY 3 2024Say hello to Gerry, a charming kitten with a unique look-half of his face is white, while the other half is black, giving him a one-of-a-kind appearance! This sweet, silky boy has come a long way from his early days when he and his brother were abandoned on a road at just 16 weeks old. They survived by hiding in a barn until they were rescued and brought to safety.Though shy at first, Gerry has blossomed into a playful and affectionate kitten. He currently shares a room with his friend Baby Girl, and they both love to play and explore. Gerry would do best in a home with another kitten or young cat to keep him company and help him feel secure. If you're looking for a special companion with a heartwarming story, Gerry is ready to find his forever family!Location: Oakville PetSmart, 2501 Hyde Park Gate

Story
Brie is looking for a job as a work-from-home assistant. This stunning long-haired Calico is two years old and possesses all the required qualities. Not that looks matter, but look how beautiful she is! She will look great in your Zoom meetings. Brie is exceptionally friendly and will mesh well with any co-workers as soon as she meets them. She is very well-behaved, so you don’t have to worry about her slacking off during the day. A social girl, she loves being around people. Brie loves to give kisses and rub against people, but please don’t tell human resources. She doesn’t mind if you pick her up, but it's not necessary. She’s always going to be in your general vicinity because she loves to be near the action - she might be the one hanging around the water cooler, gossiping. Brie thinks she is helpful by laying on your desk and across your keyboard, even if you are actively typing! If she’s in your way and you need to take a private meeting, toss a toy for her and she’ll chase after it. Brie gets along well with other cat employees and would enjoy having another one on her team. She also works great independently and would be ok if her boss has an in-person job too. Kids and dogs are unknown. Brie was found outside as a pregnant stray. She gave birth to a full team of seven little employees and was a great momager to them. But now they are seeking their own employment, as Brie looks for her forever employer as well. Brie is the employee of the month and deserves both a promotion to her forever home and a raise! She prefers payment in treats, please! Brie is an excellent co-worker and will make a great assistant to anyone who works from home to bring home the bacon treats. If you would like Brie on your team, she’s ready to interview with you.

Story
*** IN FOSTER***Chelsea will add sugar and spice to your life! This stunning copper, black, and white beauty is like a master chef, creating the perfect blend of flavours with a mix of sweetness, love and a hint of calico spice. Chelsea's journey to EHS began after her owners' passing, leaving her to spend months alone in a home. But now she's ready to find a loving family to call her own. Chelsea is sure to add some savoury goodness to your life! Prepare to be amazed by her culinary skills while spending time with people. Once she gets to know you, she'll become your loyal sous-chef, always by your side, whether it's curling up on your lap or snuggling in beside you--and if you are lucky you can catch her making biscuits. Don't be surprised if you wake from an afternoon nap to find this calico bundle of joy sitting on top of you, offering you a taste of her love. Chelsea's stealthy, and only mildly judgmental of your napping habits. But Chelsea isn't just about lounging around all day. She's a saucy entertainer! Her passion for feather toys will whisk you away into a world of joy and laughter, adding some spice to your home. But her pièce de résistance is her zooming laps around the room to catch the laser and her dexterity winding around human legs! It's like a gourmet dish of (c)athleticism. Now, here's the secret ingredient to winning Chelsea's heart: scratches! Give her some gentle head, ear, and chin scratches, and you'll become fast friends. She recently added a lot of "sweets" to her menu, grooming her trusted foster parent in exchange for ear and chin scritches! Fair warning, venturing towards her back end with those scratches may get you removed from her kitchen faster than Gordon Ramsey! So be sure to keep an eye on her barometric tail, a refined piece of technology that twitches to give you insight into her moods. A sudden flutter might mean she's had enough attention for the moment. Just like a weathervane, her tail tells the tale. Chelsea also has her own culinary needs--a special diet of urinary food for life. Aside from that, Chelsea would do well in just about any kitchen/home. During her time in foster care, Chelsea spent a great deal of time hanging out with, (and walking over) a couple of large, calm dogs. So, if you have a zen-like, canine companion, they might just make a perfect match for her. She may also do best in an adult-only home, adding a touch of sophistication to your household. If you're looking for a loving companion to bring a Michelin Star to your life, Chelsea may just be the recipe you've been searching for! Apply to adopt Chelsea today and embark on a flavourful journey of love and companionship.--------------------The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...or, double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. --------------------Interested in adopting Chelsea? ***IN FOSTER***Does something feel awry? It might be that you're missing Arrax in your home!If you feel as if your home is missing a cute and playful cat, Arrax may be the one to save the day! Arrax is a curious boy that came to us from another shelter. Not much is known about his past, but he seems comfortable around people. An energetic and playful guy, Arrax often demands attention. He loves to play with his foster, and will often give playful bites to further his point (unfortunately, he can't exactly use words to get his message across, because he's a cat). His ideal world has him receiving attention 24/7, but we're trying to negotiate with him to allow nighttime to be for sleep. Arrax isn't a fan of other cats, and would likely do best in a home without small children. As Arrax has a lot of energy and often demands attention, he'd do best in a home where he can be mentally stimulated via interactive play or windows to watch out of. Is Arrax the cat you need? Apply today and let him blow you away! (Get it? He's named after a dragon!)--------------------The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Lil King gets along with other cats and will do well with children. Please contact the shelter to make an appointment for a visit with Lily King.
