Story
GERRY, M/N, DLH, WHITE/BLACKBORN MAY 3 2024Say hello to Gerry, a charming kitten with a unique look—half of his face is white, while the other half is black, giving him a one-of-a-kind appearance! This sweet, silky boy has come a long way from his early days when he and his brother were abandoned on a road at just 16 weeks old. They survived by hiding in a barn until they were rescued and brought to safety.Though shy at first, Gerry has blossomed into a playful and affectionate kitten. He currently shares a room with his friend Baby Girl, and they both love to play and explore. Gerry would do best in a home with another kitten or young cat to keep him company and help him feel secure. If you’re looking for a special companion with a heartwarming story, Gerry is ready to find his forever family!Location: Oakville PetSmart, 2501 Hyde Park Gate

Story
Cherney, which means the colour black in Russian, loves all toys. She plays nicely with her siblings and has a blast as she bounces around like a tumbleweed playing catch me if you can! With her fluffy, soft rabbit-like fur, she looks like a walking stuffed toy. Cherney is super cuddly and friendly and loves lounging on hammocks with her siblings. Very social and docile, she loves everyone she meets. A confident girl, she is very puppy-like and surrenders on her back when picked up for snuggles, purring loudly the entire time! She is good using the scratching posts provided and has clean litter box habits. Cherney gets along well with other cats and kids, but would love to be adopted with one of her “colour black” siblings. Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS. As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.

Story
Kuro, which means the colour black in Japanese, is fun and confident. He explores new surroundings like he’s been there, watches what you do and follows you around. He likes to stare into your eyes wondering what you’re up to next. Kuro has a gentle, docile and sweet personality and will flop into your arms, purring the entire time. He is very social, personable and puppy-like. His fur is fluffy and so soft, like rabbits’ fur. He looks like a walking stuffed toy! Kuro is gentle and includes his quieter siblings in play. He uses his scratch post well and has clean litter box habits. Kuro gets along well with other cats and kids, but would love to be adopted with one of his “colour black” siblings. Story
*** IN FOSTER***Chelsea will add sugar and spice to your life! This stunning copper, black, and white beauty is like a master chef, creating the perfect blend of flavours with a mix of sweetness, love and a hint of calico spice. Chelsea`s journey to EHS began after her owners` passing, leaving her to spend months alone in a home. But now she`s ready to find a loving family to call her own. Chelsea is sure to add some savoury goodness to your life! Prepare to be amazed by her culinary skills while spending time with people. Once she gets to know you, she`ll become your loyal sous-chef, always by your side, whether it`s curling up on your lap or snuggling in beside you--and if you are lucky you can catch her making biscuits. Don`t be surprised if you wake from an afternoon nap to find this calico bundle of joy sitting on top of you, offering you a taste of her love. Chelsea`s stealthy, and only mildly judgmental of your napping habits. But Chelsea isn`t just about lounging around all day. She`s a saucy entertainer! Her passion for feather toys will whisk you away into a world of joy and laughter, adding some spice to your home. But her pièce de résistance is her zooming laps around the room to catch the laser and her dexterity winding around human legs! It`s like a gourmet dish of (c)athleticism. Now, here`s the secret ingredient to winning Chelsea`s heart: scratches! Give her some gentle head, ear, and chin scratches, and you`ll become fast friends. She recently added a lot of “sweets” to her menu, grooming her trusted foster parent in exchange for ear and chin scritches! Fair warning, venturing towards her back end with those scratches may get you removed from her kitchen faster than Gordon Ramsey! So be sure to keep an eye on her barometric tail, a refined piece of technology that twitches to give you insight into her moods. A sudden flutter might mean she`s had enough attention for the moment. Just like a weathervane, her tail tells the tale. Chelsea also has her own culinary needs--a special diet of urinary food for life. Aside from that, Chelsea would do well in just about any kitchen/home. During her time in foster care, Chelsea spent a great deal of time hanging out with, (and walking over) a couple of large, calm dogs. So, if you have a zen-like, canine companion, they might just make a perfect match for her. She may also do best in an adult-only home, adding a touch of sophistication to your household
