Story
Meet Carol, a sweet and fluffy black cat who is all about affection and cuddles! With her soft, silky fur and gentle nature, she’ll melt your heart the moment you meet her. Carol loves to curl up in your lap, purring contently as you shower her with love. She`s the perfect companion for anyone looking for a furry friend to snuggle with. If you’re ready for a cozy cuddle buddy, Carol is waiting to join your family!**Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Any applications submitted outside of www.kwsphumane.ca may not be received.

Story
Pete is a wonderful and sweet boy. He is an exceptional cuddler and wants to lay on you for pets. He is 2 years old coming up in Feb 2025. Pete is very aggressive towards my other, older cat. It is almost vicious in some instances. It isn't fair to my other cat to endure the abuse. It's only gotten worse over time. Pete is very affectionate with my daughter. They are best friends and this is what makes this so difficult for our family. He is so so sweet, loves to snuggle and doesn't like to take no for an answer. He will sleep with you all night. He doesn't mind our dog, but also doesn't seek out anything from her. A family with no other cats would be best for Pete to thrive in.

RANDY - DLH, male, neutered, grey, DOB Apr 9/13 Randy is a very sensitive boy that will need a quiet home with someone who is patient and kind. He is settling into his foster home well and now purrs and enjoys being petted. He's not used to the love and attention. He is ok with other cats and may do well with a confident cat in the home. He recently had a dental done so his teeth are good but it was discovered he has a mild thyroid condition. He is required to take an oral medication morning and night and he's a champ about it. It's a fairly inexpensive medication. Are you that special person who will give Randy a wonderful home and all the love he deserves? November 5, 2024, 10:10 am

Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Onyx arrived at the Haven when Mom was hiding and living under one of our buildings. We secured Mom who was semi feral and realized she had recently had a litter. After crawling under the building we found 5 sweet kitties with eyes still closed. They are now approximately 6 months and 4 have found homes, Onyx is the last one looking for a home. Like his siblings, Onyx is timid but with patience and love, his siblings are flourishing in their new homes. Onyx is vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and as per our adoption contract his adopter will be required to have him neutered when of age. If interested please send us an application- https://form.jotform.com/222805088235254 Or email- havenoftheheart1@gmail.com

Story
Cherney, which means the colour black in Russian, loves all toys. She plays nicely with her siblings and has a blast as she bounces around like a tumbleweed playing catch me if you can! With her fluffy, soft rabbit-like fur, she looks like a walking stuffed toy. Cherney is super cuddly and friendly and loves lounging on hammocks with her siblings. Very social and docile, she loves everyone she meets. A confident girl, she is very puppy-like and surrenders on her back when picked up for snuggles, purring loudly the entire time! She is good using the scratching posts provided and has clean litter box habits. Cherney gets along well with other cats and kids, but would love to be adopted with one of her “colour black” siblings. Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS. As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.
