Story
Hi, I’m Portia. I’m a quiet, sensitive girl who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and gentle place. I was found as a stray, so I can be a bit shy at first, but with patience, kindness, and a calm home, I know I’ll continue to blossom. I enjoy peaceful naps tucked inside cozy boxes or stretched out in warm, sunny spots on a comfy couch. Loud or busy environments can be overwhelming for me, so I’m dreaming of a quiet, low-stress home with a patient adopter who will let me move at my own pace. What I want most is a safe, loving life where I can finally relax, feel secure, and show my sweet side when I’m ready. If you believe the best bonds are built slowly and gently, I think we could be perfect for each other.

Story
Hi, my name is Brodie. I’m a shy, gentle guy who does best in a calm, quiet home. I’m an indoor-only, low-energy cat who enjoys peaceful days and soft company. I like affection, brushing, and even being picked up—but only once I feel comfortable and on my own terms. When I’ve had enough, I’ll simply move away or let out a small squeak to let you know. Because I’m sensitive to change, I’ll need to start in a small space in my new home so I can settle in slowly. I’ve lived with another cat before and found it stressful, so I’d likely be happiest as the only cat in the home. I can also be shy around children and may do best in an adult or very calm household. With patience and gentle interactions, I form strong bonds and become a truly sweet, loving companion. If you’re looking for a quiet soul to share your peaceful space, I’d love to meet you.

Story
Hello… my name is Luna. I’m a friendly but shy and independent girl who loves people on my own terms. I can be fearful and a little grumpy if I feel uncomfortable, especially at the vet or during grooming, so I need a patient, loving home where I can feel safe. I’m an indoor-only cat who enjoys playtime with sticks and feather toys. I like to be pet and shown affection, but only when I’m in the mood. When I’ve had enough, I may hiss or growl, and I don’t like my butt or tail touched. I prefer not to be picked up, but I’m otherwise gentle and loving. I’ve never lived with children, dogs, or other cats, so I would do best in a quiet home without kids. I’m a little on the heavier side and need routine grooming, especially around my hind end, so my forever family should be prepared to help me stay clean and comfy. If you’re looking for a sweet, strong-willed girl who blossoms with patience and love, I could be your perfect companion.
