Story
Meet Carol, a sweet and fluffy black cat who is all about affection and cuddles! With her soft, silky fur and gentle nature, she’ll melt your heart the moment you meet her. Carol loves to curl up in your lap, purring contently as you shower her with love. She`s the perfect companion for anyone looking for a furry friend to snuggle with. If you’re ready for a cozy cuddle buddy, Carol is waiting to join your family!**Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Story
RANDY - DLH, male, neutered, grey, DOB Apr 9/13 Randy is a very sensitive boy that will need a quiet home with someone who is patient and kind. He is settling into his foster home well and now purrs and enjoys being petted. He's not used to the love and attention. He is ok with other cats and may do well with a confident cat in the home. He recently had a dental done so his teeth are good but it was discovered he has a mild thyroid condition. He is required to take an oral medication morning and night and he's a champ about it. It's a fairly inexpensive medication. Are you that special person who will give Randy a wonderful home and all the love he deserves? November 5, 2024, 10:10 am

Story
Pete is a wonderful and sweet boy. He is an exceptional cuddler and wants to lay on you for pets. He is 2 years old coming up in Feb 2025. Pete is very aggressive towards my other, older cat. It is almost vicious in some instances. It isn't fair to my other cat to endure the abuse. It's only gotten worse over time. Pete is very affectionate with my daughter. They are best friends and this is what makes this so difficult for our family. He is so so sweet, loves to snuggle and doesn't like to take no for an answer. He will sleep with you all night. He doesn't mind our dog, but also doesn't seek out anything from her. A family with no other cats would be best for Pete to thrive in.

Story
Isolde is a beautiful gal, in appearance and personality. She is chatty and loves to tell you when she needs some loving. She is playful, but prefers a quiet game batting the toy around to rough housing with her siblings. She loves to be brushed and will need that maintenance to keep her long locks smooth and unmatted. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and will come with a voucher for her spay at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the spay surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!

Story
Brandy is an absolute baby doll! She loves to be carried, cuddled and kissed, and her purr motor is always running. She would be happy in a home that has many hands to play with her, she loves all the toys and isn't afraid to bathe them all in her water dish too! She likes to be brushed and her new family should understand she needs to be brushed regularly to keep her beautiful coat smooth and shiny. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and will come with a voucher for her spay at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet.
