Story
Jinx is one half of a perfectly bonded pair, she is looking for her forever home alongside her beautiful mama Lindy! Jinx may be small, but this perfectly pocket sized kitty has oodles of love and personality to share once you get to know her! A little shy at first, Jinx appreciates gentle touches and kind words. As soon as she gets settled in and sees that her mama Lindy is still by her side and soaking up all of your attention, Jinx opens her heart to you and shows off her true colours - Playful, sweet, and oh so silly when it’s time to break out the cat toys! Jinx really loves play time, she’s a big fan of wiggle wands and soft toys stuffed with catnip. Her small size makes her quick on her feet, and she’s an expert at catching her favourite toys! When she’s ready to wind down for the day, Jinx likes to be nearby her humans - She loves it when you pet her incredibly soft fur, and cradle her tiny head in your hands as you tell her what a pretty kitty she is. Jinx gets along well with gentle children, and she is curious about the other cats in our care.

Story
Lindy is one half of a perfectly bonded pair, she needs to find her forever home alongside her baby girl Jinx! Seven year old Lindy is an affectionate fluffball, from the moment this gorgeous gal sets eyes on you, she’s already trying to convince you to come and snuggle her! With her peppy and excitable personality, it’s easy to fall in love with Lindy. Often times, she will stand on her hind legs and ‘dig’ at the door of her enclosure to hey ‘Hello! I’m here! Let me out and I’ll give you the best cuddles you’ve ever had!’ Lindy is always happy to have her pretty fur brushed out to perfection, and she says thank you for spoiling her by purring up a storm the whole time. Throughout the day you will often find Lindy snuggled up close to her baby Jinx, they’re usually so close together that it’s hard to tell where one ends and the other begins! Lindy is gentle and just wants to spend as much time with you as possible. She gets along well with children, and seems curious about other cats too.

Story
Onyx arrived at the Haven when Mom was hiding and living under one of our buildings. We secured Mom who was semi feral and realized she had recently had a litter. After crawling under the building we found 5 sweet kitties with eyes still closed. They are now between 6 months and 3 have found homes, Dusty and Onyx are looking for their homes. Like his siblings, Onyx is timid but with patience and love, his siblings are flourishing in their new homes. Onyx is vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and as per our adoption contract his adopter will be required to have him neutered. Story
Violet is a very sweet and loving girl. She is very drawn to her humans and loves being pet and hanging near you. She is not a fan of being held but will accept being picked up for a very short period of time. She will be happy to see you when you arrive home and she will be ready to rest on your lap during downtime. She enjoys her cat tree and looking out the window watching the neighbourhood entertainment. Violet prefers being the only cat in the home as she is not a fan of other cats. She showed interest in the dog at her foster home but the dog also prefers to keep her distance. Violet is very much a people cat and has a very calm voice. she is a very easygoing cat and a great companion. She is currently being fostered in Aurora. Please visit our website www.pawsaboverescue.ca to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Introducing Rufus! Male    DOB: 2017 Rufus was rescued from a long tough life on the streets of Stoufville, in an industrial area where he was most likely dumped.  He was in rough shape; he had all the battle wounds of street life, and his fur was so badly matted it was attached to his skin.   Thanks to the unconditional love, patience and dedication of his foster mom he has come a long way on his journey and is thriving living the indoor life! Rufus has learned to trust humans, actively seeks attention, enjoys lovins & petting and can chat up a storm!     A gorgeous long haired white tabby with thick dense fur and  an adorable innocent face who has a sweet, calm, gentle nature.   Rufus would do well in a home where he is the only pet.  If you want to be the one to give Rufus the” furever” home he has never known, please fill out ana adoption application and contact us.     November 19, 2024, 4:08 pm
