Story
Vic is from a litter of three that was living in an apartment with other cats until the landlord said "TOO MANY"!  He has very sweet and will be a big boy when fully grown. PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form.  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.   December 15, 2024, 8:53 pm

Story
Vinnie and his brother and sister were staying in an apartment until the landlord told the owner that they had too many cats and some had to go (there were 7 others).  They came to PAWS-OK when they were about 8 weeks old and all three are very friendly. December 15, 2024, 9:16 pm

Story
Bear is a bit of an aloof kitten.  He can be cranky until he feels safe and he trust you.  Once he does trust is is quite a purr ball! He has been around other cats but not out with them.  He will need a quiet home preferably without small children.October 24, 2024, 12:50 pm

Story
Caligula is 1 of 9 kittens born to a feral mom.  He is a sweet and happy boy. He is used to other cats and the sound of dogs but hasn't been out with them.  We like kittens to go in pairs or to homes with other cats.  They may be a bit too shy for small children.December 24, 2024, 12:11 pm

Story
Hi! My name is Lulu, and I'm a 5-year-old male goofy-goober! My mom thought I was a girl when she adopted me from her friend's litter of kittens, and decided to keep my name. It's fitting though, because I'm a very sweet and cuddly boy with the highest, cutest meow. I'm a bit of a larger cat, but deep down I'm a big baby that is spooked by dogs and is too scared to dominate or pick on other cats. Although she absolutely adores me, my mom wants to find me another loving home because she's about to marry a man that is severely allergic to me. I need an owner who will give me lots of pets but won't pick me up, let me lay in their lap, let me sniff what they're cooking, and will be patient with my cries when I'm feeling lonely or anxious. I'm also very talkative and if you directly speak to me, I'll meow back! I also know my name and will follow when you say "Come on, Lulu!" I'm a big people person, but can get nervous around small kids. Make sure they treat me gently!
