Story
My name is Tiny and I am a shy girl with some special needs. I don't have the best vision or hearing and struggle remembering to use the litterbox, so I need to go to a quiet home with someone that will be patient with me. I take a little longer than normal cats to acclimate to my surroundings, but once I am comfortable, you will see my true colors. I am caught up on my vaccines, spayed, and up to date on my preventative flea medication. Although I may be easily startled and have lots of special conditions, I will be the best kitty I can. Tiny is only available for foster-to-adopt with strict requirements. If you are interesting in Tiny, please contact us!

Meet Catherine, our CSI kitten momma. Catherine's kittens have all been adopted but she is still waiting for her forever home. She is a beautiful long hair Torti, with the full on Torti-tude to boot. She’s definitely one of our more dominant cats and really wants your attention...all of your attention! She’s has been spayed, she’s negative for feline leukemia/FIV, she’s fully vaccinated, fecal negative and treated for fleas and worms. Her DOB is estimated to be 5/2021. Story
Meet Friday: The Sweetest Gentleman at the Sanctuary Friday isn’t just any kitty—he’s the kitty. Born around April 13, 2022, this handsome 2-year-old long-haired tiger boy has stolen the hearts of everyone at our shelter. His gentle, laid-back nature makes him the kind of companion everyone dreams of. Friday is a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets, both human and feline. He’s not shy in the slightest and enjoys cuddling with any kitty willing to share a cozy spot. That said, he has a special bond with our stunning calico, Agatha. She’s completely smitten with him, spending almost all her time by his side. Occasionally, we catch Friday sneaking a nap with another feline friend, but don’t tell Agatha—her heart belongs to him! We’d love to see Friday and Agatha adopted together. Their bond is undeniable, and Agatha only opens up to other kitties because of her love for Friday. Together, they make the sweetest pair. Friday does have some ongoing health concerns that are well-managed and not serious. These issues may even resolve over time. We’re happy to provide more details to anyone interested in giving Friday (and hopefully Agatha) a loving home. Rest assured, Friday is otherwise in great shape and ready to bring joy to your life. Friday has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, he is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and has been treated for fleas and worms. Friday thrives on affection, whether it’s snuggling with his kitty friends or soaking up attention from our volunteers. His calm and loving demeanor makes him the perfect fit for almost any home. If you’re looking for a feline companion (or better yet, a bonded pair with Agatha), don’t wait! Friday is ready to make every day feel like the best day of the week. https://www.catsanctuaryashland.org/adoption-application

Story
Introducing Stripes! We’ve got to chuckle a bit—our girl Stripes isn’t striped at all! Instead, she’s a stunning black-and-white long-haired beauty with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Born around 12/26/2022, this little lady is just shy of 2 years old and weighs about 8 ½ pounds, making her the perfect size for snuggles. Stripes has been a wonderful momma to her kittens Clara, Frannie, and Lightning, and even took little foster kitten Lucy under her wing. Now that all her babies have been adopted, Stripes is ready to leave her motherhood days behind and settle into a cozy forever home where she can be pampered as she deserves! Her name may not match her appearance, but her personality more than makes up for it. Stripes is a favorite around here, especially with our vet techs, and she’s even become besties with fellow momma cat Snooki as they both wrapped up kitten duties at the same time. This sweet, affectionate girl has tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has been treated for fleas and worms. She’s all set to start her next chapter—could it be with you? If you’re looking for a kitty that’s equal parts adorable, loving, and a little quirky, Stripes is ready to be your new best friend! Story
Contrary to her name, she is a loving and gentle kitten. She adores snuggling with her cage mate Elvira and thrives on human affection. This playful little girl enjoys frolicking with her fellow kittens and engaging with toys. Rescued as a sickly, abandoned kitten, she has since regained her health and is now eager to find a forever home.

Story
Hello, I'm Twinkle Toes. I'm no kitten, but don't let that fool you. I'm as spicy as a jalapeno and as independent as they come. I once lived with a pack of cats, but when a dog moved in, I hightailed it outta there. I don't do dogs. Or kids. They're too noisy. Now, I'm a shelter cat, but don't pity me. I'm brave, litter trained, and I've got a love for other cats that rivals my love for tuna. So, if you're a cat lover with a quiet home and a dislike for dogs, I'm your gal. Adopt me and let's rule the world together, one tuna can at a time.More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-6548 or email at manager@mahspets.org
