Story
Sammie & Tigger 2.0 are a bonded pair of fluff -- they are just a little shy at first but quick to warm up. They love human attention and interaction, and they enjoy playing with toys. This pair was surrendered through no fault of their own, a bonded pair of 1.5 year old littermates... They each have a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. Story
Little Lucky is the sole survivor in his premie born litter to his young mama, Lolly Jane. He is very sweet, learning to play but quick to seek out human company. He is fluffy at the moment, but time will tell as to how fluffy he stays as he grows up. Lucky has some tabby stripes on his little legs:) He has a $125 adoption fee; mama was tested and had a negative combo test. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at -www.whiskersofohio.org - please note that the "I'm interested" tab on Petfinder does NOT act as an application, this should only be used for specific questions before committing to an adoption. You will receive an email confirmation when your application goes through. We make no breed guarantees, we are a rescue, not a breeder. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, with ZERO paid workers or admins. Free transport is regularly available to Wayne/Holmes County areas! We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.

Story
Meet the magnificent Shaggy in all of his fluffy glory! Shaggy was brought into the shelter with his also orange but not as fluffy brother, Fred. They seem to be close siblings! They grew up together with their previous family. The two of them find comfort in one another when they get nervous, huddled and snuggled up together. We think it would be great if the two of them were adopted together. It would help them ease into their new home better as well. Here's a little bit about Shaggy, with nice information given from their former owners: he's a very sweet cuddle buddy who likes to sleep in the same bed as their family. They described him as a big fluffy baby who is vocal for attention and even gets a little jealous when he sees his brother being pet and not him! Shaggy loves to play with all kinds of toys, especially tennis balls and toys that squeak or chirp. He likes to climb tall cat trees and observe things from high above. Surveying his land! Shaggy is particularly fond of getting head and chin scratches as well as his belly rubbed...Of course, the belly rub would require time to get to know you! Their home before did have two dogs that they were separated from most of the time, and there weren't any issues. They would sniff each other's noses and mind their own business. If they were to be adopted into a home with dogs, we think it would be best if the dogs were calm and low energy. Shaggy's ideal home would be with his brother (of course), but also one that is more so quiet and relaxed. Come by the Humane Society to visit Shaggy!
