Ivy is a bit shy and operates on her own terms, but once she knows she is in a safe space, she will be eager to give you love and affection. Her favorite places to sleep are under the bed or in a closet, and on the cat tree basking in the sun. Ivy loves to sit by you while you’re watching TV, lay by an open window, and play with toys (springs, strings, and catnip of course are her absolute favorites!). She also LOVES to be brushed and will start purring instantly. This girl is looking for a patient and loving adopter who will give her the time she needs to adjust to her new home. Ivy needs to be the only cat in the home, and she will do best with older kids and adults. She truly is a sweetie. We know you’ll fall in love with her!

Sadly I need to rehome my two very sweet and loving cats due to allergies. They must go as a pair, as they are brother and sister. I rescued them 7 years ago and they are great cats. They do have their claws still but are great about using the cat scratcher. I have trained them with a squirt bottle. Not in a mean way. The orange one is butterscotch. His coat needs some TLC periodically as his fur has a tendency to mat and he can’t always keep up with it. He loves attention and will bump your head to show his love and sometimes he love bites but just enough to say I love you and pet me more. He tends to be a bit more of a scaredy cat. He likes Comfy places to hide. Acorn is a lover but on her terms. She loves to sit on your lap and will gently pat at you for you to pet her but she doesn’t like to be carried or picked up. They are both very good cats. Must go together. I will give you the cat tree and their beds.
