Lurtz is a sweet male longhair tabby “teen” kitten with a playful and affectionate personality. He came in needing medical attention and had to have an eye removed, but now that he’s healed, his playful side has truly come out! Lurtz loves trying to play with other cats and enjoys playfights with people as he’s still learning how to interact. Once he burns off his extra energy, he’s a loving and affectionate companion. Lurtz is thriving now that he’s healthy and pain-free, and he’s ready to bring joy, playfulness, and cuddles to his forever home.

Story

Baby started out very shy and skittish and afraid of every sound she heard in the house. She has gained confidence and has been less reactive over the few months I've been fostering her. She purrs and is okay being pet for short periods of time but prefers to pet her people instead of being pet. She gets overstimulated easily and is still rather skittish with certain things like the ceiling fan and new people. I suspect that some of her skittishness is due to vision issues she may have. I've also realized recently that her front paws are declawed. She would be a great cat for someone who understands her need to have her own space.

Rocket is a 4 year and 8 months old Red Point Siamese who came to the shelter as an injured stray. He had been attacked by another animal and had multiple puncture wounds that needed treatment. We were surprised to find he was neutered and microchipped. His owner, currently serving overseas in the military, had left him with friends to care for. Sadly, he ended up outside and did not fare well on his own. His owner, unable to claim, agreed to let us treat his wounds and place him up for adoption. Rocket needs a special adopter who will understand his personality! He does not like other cats, so much so that he will scream at his own reflection. He is very loving, playful, mischievous and vocal.His adoption fee is $200, this includes his neuter, FELV/FIV test, vaccines current, deworming, flea prevention and micro-chipped.
