Domestic Longhair kittens & cats in Belpre, Ohio

Tony is a handsome 3-month old male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on October 12, 2024 along with two of his siblings (Tasha and Troy). His third sibling (Toya) arrived on October 17th. The kittens' mother (Tori) was brought to HSOV on October 13th. This little family was found on Hickory Drive in Little Hocking Ohio. This little sweetheart has a brown tabby longhaired smooth coat, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, nice "ear furnishings", a dusting of white on his muzzle, and long white whiskers. Tony was given Pyrantel wormer on October 12th and received vaccinations on October 13th. He weighed 2 lbs that day. Tony was given booster vaccines on October 26th and November 15, 2024. Tony and his brother Troy are currently sharing a double-wide cage in our Jungle Room where they love to play silly kitten games and then snuggle up for a catnap together. These boys are bestest friends (smile). These photos of Tony were taken on December 17, 2024 when HSOV Lead Feline Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton accompanied Tony and his brother Troy in our 'studio' for their glamour pictures .. And they did themselves proud by posing like professional models and entertained each other while doing so. Tony and Troy will be neutered (tentatively in late January 2025) before being adopted by their new family. We were delighted when a family came to the shelter to visit with our cats/kittens and fell in love with Tony and Troy. These boys have an adoption pending (together) as of December 21, 2024 and will go home with that family after they are neutered (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized). Update: Tony was neutered on January 27, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 6.2 lbs that day.

Manatee is a beautiful 2-year old female Tortoiseshell kitty who was surrendered by her owner on February 3, 2025 along with several of her companions who had shared her home. This little sweetheart has a dark brown/orange/beige long-haired coat in a tortoiseshell pattern, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable face with a tiny orange stripe on her forehead, golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long white whiskers. Manatee has a sweet, rather demure, personality. Manatee was given vaccinations and flea treatment on February 3rd 2025. She weighed 3.2 lbs that day. Manatee has been given wormer treatments, and she was given booster vaccines on February 19, 2025. Manatee was spayed on March 17, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She is a petite little lady who weighed 4.78 lbs that day. We had taken preliminary photos of Manatee and her companions on February 3rd shortly after their arrival .. Manatee was a little beauty queen when we took updated photos of several of the boys/girls on March 19, 2025. Thanks to HSOV Volunteer Wendy Jo Irvin for helping them with their best poses that day.

Denver is a sweet orange kitty that loves to snuggle up and get belly rubs. He’s a very vocal boy when he wants some attention. Denver is very playful and loves being mischievous. His hobbies include: afternoon naps with you, carrying toys in his mouth, and attempting to steal human food. When the day is over, Denver loves to cuddle up in bed with you for a good nights sleep.

Emmie was brought to the shelter on 1/14/2025. She was a happy outside cat until she had her third litter of kittens. She was trap savvy and would always miss her appointments, but not anymore. Emmie is going to be fixed and up to date on her vaccines. If you are interested in an inside/outside kitty like Emmie, her adoption fee is $50 with an approved application.
