Story
Arnold Palmer is a sweet and resilient cat who has overcome a rough start in life. Despite his past, he has a playful spirit and loves chasing toys. While he enjoys the occasional head scratch, Arnold is an independent kitty who values his personal space. Arnold Palmer would thrive in a calm home without dogs, cats, or young children. However, with patience and time, he may adjust to living with an older cat or dog that respects his boundaries. If you're looking for a loyal companion who appreciates both playtime and independence, Arnold Palmer could be the perfect match for you! Arnold Palmer's adoption fee ensures that he is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines and monthly preventatives.  Primary Color: Tabby- Brown Secondary Color: Tabby- Brown Weight: 14.25 Age: 2yrs 3mths 0wks

Story
Lola is a sweet, older girl full of love. She was initially brought into the shelter with her fur very matted. She asks that a family who would look after her beautiful coat adopt her. Lola was also very timid at first, unsure of the people and the world around her. After some loving in a foster home, she learned to be a good house cat and a companion to her humans. She has quite the playful personality. While not a fan of conventional toys, Lola loves to steal her foster mom's hair ties when mom's not looking. Lola is a vocal girl, not afraid to voice her opinion. She prefers not to be held, but will happily accept belly rubs. She does have a history of love bites when she gets excited, so a home without small children is recommended. After some evening zoomies, Lola will happily snuggle next to you as you fall asleep. Lola is litter trained, up to date on vaccinations, and spayed. Primary Color: Calico Weight: 6.5 Age: 6yrs 2mths 0wks

Story
Hello, my name is Loki and I am the very definition of a cool cat. As you can see, I am quite handsome, with beautiful long hair which I enjoy having brushed. I am so pleased to be living the good life, safely indoors, with my foster family. I'm also a bit of a lap cat and I don't mind being held. I purr very loudly when I am content. While naptime is my favorite time, I also enjoy playing. I have gentlemanly litter box manners, and I am a very good eater. Just to let you know, I do have a girlfriend called Blair and we have bonded quite well. We would absolutely love to be adopted together if you had room for the both of us. We snuggle and groom each other and are very happy to be in each other's company. We'd also be happier in a quieter home without too many small humans. My adoption fee includes my neuter surgery, a microchip, basic vaccinations, and more. If you would like to know more about me, you can contact the shelter or you can reach my foster mom directly at Cathousegirl@aol.com. I'll be waiting to hear from you! Story
Hello, my name is Blair and I am the Biscuit Making Queen of the South! I am a very sweet little girl with just the right amount of feist, which makes me lots of fun to play with. I am a bit of an alpha kitty, which means I like to be in charge. I love to play with my toys and my handsome cat boyfriend, Loki. I love to sit in your lap and will make sweet biscuits while purring very loudly. I would do best in a quiet home with adults or older children. I'd also really love to be adopted with my boyfriend (Loki) as we have bonded and really enjoy snuggling and spending time together. We make an adorable couple! My adoption fee includes my spay surgery, as well as a microchip, basic vaccinations, and more! If you would like to know more about me, you can reach out to the shelter or you can contact my foster mom directly at: Cathousegirl@aol.com. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon! Story
Meet Noodle! Noodle is an approximately 8-year-old domestic longhair that loves pets, treats, and big windows. She is a very affectionate kitty who would love to become your chatty shadow. Her adoption fee will cover a pet carrier, food and water bowls, her favorite toys, and some of her favorite food. Over the past year, Noodle has begun to show some seemingly stress-related behaviors, such as spraying and biting. This behavior is seemingly exclusive to my room and me, as she does not bite my roommates or spray in their rooms. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to afford vet appointments and/or medication. For these reasons, I would prefer her to go to a home with an experienced pet owner. She does not do well with other cats or young children, but historically does well with (pre-)teens and can tolerate dogs who give her space.

Story
Sam is a beautiful Maine Coon mix with a slightly red tinted black coat, long tufts on paws, bushy tail and ruff to keep his neck warm. He was begging in my neighborhood, so I started feeding him and after a day or two he would walk right up and beg from my kitchen door. Attempts to find his home went unanswered. This extrovert is not shy of anything or anyone. He is a door greeter and loves to meet you at the door and knows no strangers. However, he is on a daily medication. He prefers a male owner and is less a fan of chilling with women. Sam enjoys being gently petted, never aggressively, when he approaches you. Once he has had enough his ears will begin to flatten and that is the time to stop. He likes to be softly held or picked up.Sleeping on your bed is his preference but not on top of you. Being alone in the house is no problem for Sam. Sam is a cat that loves to be admired. If you are interested in adopting Sam, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Approx DOB 11/27/2021 Adoption fee is $110.00 ##2118995##

Story
She’s an amazing cat. Loving. Fluffy. Snuggly. She’s become territorial and jealous over us having a newborn. She’s great with all other animals. She’s vocal and plays. Uses a litterbox well but she’s been peeing wherever the baby is or sleeps. She sits well to have her nails trimmed and is super cute. She’s a big cat with whatever she is mixed with, we believe she’s like a tuxedo main coon mix with how her shape, tail and hair is. I want her in a happy healthy home where she can be herself and taken care of like none other. We have been trying to comfort her and reassure her that she is still loved but after 3 weeks she seems to have become more jealous acting.

Story
Sophia is a 3 year old long hair black beauty! She is very sweet and loving, but is very shy when meeting new people. It takes her a while to warm up, but when she does she loves to curl up in your lap and purr. She didn't do well in her previous home due to multiple cats and dogs in the home, causing to her to hide. She will do best in a more quiet environment with no dogs, and may be okay with 1 cat with a slow introduction. She deserves her Purrfect Furever home where she can come out of her shell and be herself, and get lots of love and attention that is just for her! ##1996055##

Story
Moo is 12 years old and very loving, but she has a lot of anxiety. I think with our children and added dog, it’s just not working in her favor. She keeps neglecting her litter box and it is ruining our house. Moo needs a simple home without disturbance from small children and other animals.
