Story
Sam is a beautiful Maine Coon mix with a slightly red tinted black coat, long tufts on paws, bushy tail and ruff to keep his neck warm. He was begging in my neighborhood, so I started feeding him and after a day or two he would walk right up and beg from my kitchen door. Attempts to find his home went unanswered. This extrovert is not shy of anything or anyone. He is a door greeter and loves to meet you at the door and knows no strangers. However, he is on a daily medication. He prefers a male owner and is less a fan of chilling with women. Sam enjoys being gently petted, never aggressively, when he approaches you. Once he has had enough his ears will begin to flatten and that is the time to stop. He likes to be softly held or picked up.Sleeping on your bed is his preference but not on top of you. Being alone in the house is no problem for Sam. Sam is a cat that loves to be admired. If you are interested in adopting Sam, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Approx DOB 11/27/2021 Adoption fee is $110.00 ##2118995##

Story
*** Bonded Pair with Marcel.  Hey there! My name is Beamer and I want to be your pal. My foster mom says I'm a fluffy ,soft and snuggly happy go lucky little guy. Who is just so adorable...now I am not going to argue with her on that. - I mean just look at my cute ear floof!  I'm also playful and fun too. And when I'm not playing with my foster pal Marcel I like to snuggle up with my foster mom or my pal Marcel. She says I have loud purrs too! Which means I'm just a happy go lucky kinda guy too.  I'm still a kitten they say  so I like all the toys and running through the house and doing kitten things like laser pointer and soccer with springs...those are my favorite!  I'm looking for a forever home where my pal Marcel can come with me. We love to chase each other through the house and play soccer with the toys together. And when our games are over we will often clean each other before our nap time.  He's a super cool dude too. We are about a month apart in age so we will be sure to keep each other out of trouble while we keep each other busy with our kitten games.  We are ready for our new forever family. We don't mind dogs-  who are low key and we get along just fine with other cats.  So if you want two awesome fun loving adorable teenage kittens to add to your family...look no further. We are quite cute together and will be sure to bring you joy each day.  If you are interested in adopting Beamer, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. My adorable ear tufts got you, didn’t they? Well, let me tell you more about me so you can see how irresistible I am! I’m a very sweet little lady, just a few months old. Though I am smaller than my sister Amy, I am braver, and I am the first to explore a new environment. I also love to sit on the windowsill and watch birds when I’m not playing with my sister. I’m getting used to being around dogs but I would love to have a kitty friend to hang out with in my forever home. I may seem a little shy at first, but with my bold spirit and sweet nature, I warm up pretty fast and will be the best little friend you could ever wish for! If that sounds great to you, contact Best Friend Pet Adoption (adoption@bfpa.org) to find out how to adopt me. Now, I might look serious, but don’t let my facial expressions fool you; I am a very happy-go-lucky lady! I am just a few months old and have learned a lot about being an inside cat since I was rescued from the big, scary outdoors! I love the new VIP life, though. I get to relax and lie stretched out on a comfy bed, and I have lots of toys to play with! My sister Tammy and I have so much fun chasing toys (and each other) around the house. I’ve been around dogs, so I’m sure I would get along great with a dog with a proper introduction. At first, I can seem a little shy, but once I’m warmed up and feeling secure in my surroundings, I am a little ray of sunshine! If you want a little sunshine in your life, contact Best Friend Pet Adoption (adoption@bfpa.org) and tell them you want to meet Amy! Story
Meet June, a beautiful girl with smoky, gray fur along her belly and a distinctive tail and a heart full of love. Her demeanor is a blend of sweetness and shyness, making her a perfect companion for those seeking a gentle friend. June's intelligence is unmistakable; she's quick to figure out puzzles and loves to explore. Her curiosity is endless, always eager to learn about her surroundings. Among her favorite activities is stretching out and enjoying TV time with her human. She is a curious girl who likes windows, sun and watching the world go by. June's tail, striped like a raccoon's, is a charming part of her unique personality. While she may be shy initially, once she warms up to you, her affectionate side shines through. June is looking for a forever home where she can continue to grow, learn, and love. She would do well as a solo adoption or with one of her siblings (see Johnny, Loretta & Dolly). Her adoption would mean a lifetime of shared adventures, cuddles, and mutual respect. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and loving companion, June is the cat for you.

Story
Do you want to be admired but not have people be all handsy/huggy with you? Me too!!! I am a gorgeous boy who has had a bit of a rough life and that has led me to be suspicious of some people (especially men). I have tried meditating but found that setting boundaries (3 pets on the head and not 4; snuggles only when authorized) is the best way to go. My person who gave me all the love in all the right doses passed away and now I am looking for that purrfect person who understands that I just like company and to be near you and like to be the one making the first move for attention. I am gorgeous, fluffy, entertaining and low energy. I am an easy boy to have around. I do have allergies to dust and such and as such may sneeze some artsy designs upon occasion but it doesn't slow me down and I don't mind if you don't. I was overlooked by people before my last mom because I am FIV+. What does that mean? Not a lot. It is mostly a label. People say that if I get sick I should go to the vet but that is pretty much what you would do with any cat. So if you care about what it means then you can find out more at https://fivcats.com/. I live with other cats and do fine. I just like a nice window, soft bed and person to snuggle next to. And I love my picture taken. If my handsome face makes you smile, then consider letting me make you smile every day and make me part of your family.  If you are interested in adopting Humphrey, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60-75 miles of the Raligh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. DOB is approx 3/22/2018 Adoption fee is $50 ##1111324##
