Meet Holly. Holly is a sweet cat that is having to be rehomed because her human is going to an assisted living facility. Her and her sister, Rose, have always been together and it would be great if they were adopted together. They are wonderful cats that need a new place to call home. Are you ready for a sweet companion...or two? **Adoption fee of $140 includes spay/neuter, shots, vet visits, and deworming. An additional $35 will be added to the fee if adopter wants FIV/FeLV testing.** Adoption Application: mercyrescue.org

Story
Fabio is a neutered male long-haired black-with-white cat, born on August 1, 2021. He is special needs because he was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia Virus. This means he needs to be in a home with no other cats or in a home with other cats already diagnosed with FLV as well. He has been in a foster home for several weeks and, so far, has been very healthy and is so very loving and affectionate. However, he is extremely lonely because he is separated from other cats. He shows much interest in greeting the other cats but of course is not able to play and commune with them because of the FLV. He really desires human companionship. The adoption fee is $25. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: https://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/cat-adoption-application/ We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.February 5, 2025, 8:53 am
