Story
Foxy is an adult Female Black and White DLH Foxy was dumped on a busy road out in the country, and was probably on her own for about three months, according to occasional sightings. We can’t imagine why she was dumped, as she is sweet and gentle, likes people (after an initial ‘get to know you’) and absolutely loves to sit on laps. She is 100% reliable using her litter box. Watching birds through the window is her second favorite pastime. But she hasn’t made any effort to get through the door to return to the wild. Foxy hopes for a quiet home where her people or person is home a lot. She is quite content to sit on a lap for hours of TV or reading, and is likely to want to sleep with her person too! Could this wonderful girl be your best friend for the holidays and beyond?  Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $100 fee for any county animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier.   Thank you for considering a homeless animal.January 1, 2026, 1:09 pm

Story
Meet Oopsie! Oopsie is a sweet, gentle long-haired tuxedo beauty! She is so silky and has the softest fur. Oopsie is new to us and starting to adjust to being at Mr. Grey's. We are learning more about her every day. Currently, she would do best in a quiet, calm home with patient, kind people who can give her the love and time she needs to blossom. Oopsie is missing the part of her right hind leg that is below the knee. This in no way limits her abilities. She also has a sister named Daisy. Daisy has been seen lying on top of Oopsie. They would love to go home together. There has been research showing that kittens thrive with a friend. Please consider adopting 2 kittens especially if you do not have any other cats at home. Mr. Grey’s Strays will waive the fee for the second microchip should you decide to do so. Story
Meet Daisy (3)! Daisy is a beautiful long-haired black kitten with the shiniest, silkiest fur. She was born outside and has only been at the rescue a short time. Slowly she is learning to trust people and starting to enjoy being held and being petted. We see progress every day. Most of the time, she is snuggling with her sister, Oopsie. They would love to go home together! There has been research showing that kittens thrive with a friend. Please consider adopting 2 kittens especially if you do not have any other cats at home. Story
Betty Lou found herself outside alone raising her own litter of kittens 🐈 plus two orphaned kittens she adopted when their mama disappeared. A nice person found the family outside and helped bring them inside to safety❤️ Betty Lou is a sweet, kind soul. She is only about a year old, so nearly a kitten herself. She’s very playful 🧶 at times but so loving at others🥹 One of her favorite toys, 🧸 which you can almost always find her playing with is a long, crinkle cat toy that she can bunny 🐾 kick 😂🫣 Betty Lou enjoys lap time with her humans and enjoys being pet so much you can hear her purring for miles. She would love to find a forever home that lets her be her own self! She warms up with patience and will melt your heart ❤️ once she does. Betty Lou enjoys the company of other cats 🐈 and because of this, we think she’d do well in a home with other cats. She’d also do well as a solo cat with human attention and love❤️ If Betty Lou sounds like your match, apply today!

Story
DOB:  07/01/18 Mandee is a beautifully fluffy gray and white tuxedo kitty who came into GRASP care when her owner moved. Mandee is quite shy and hid under her blanket for the first couple weeks. She is starting to approach her foster mom when she enters her room (so we can tell she's interested in getting love, attention, and food).Mandee has been bullied by cats in the past, so she would do best in a peaceful environment with patient humans (adults or teenagers). She can be intimidated by fast moving objects and people.  She may do well with a calm respectful cat with a slow introduction, but would likely be very happy as an only kitty! This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.  August 17, 2025, 11:04 am
