Darla is stunning – yet she doesn’t know it! She is a domestic long haired girl approx. 7 years young whose caretaker passed away. She can be shy at first, but likes to be pet and get attention on her terms. She will require daily brushing to keep her fur matte free. We don’t know if she doesn’t groom thoroughly due to depression from losing the home she knew or not, but she had a grooming appointment and the amount of hair they had to brush out was unreal! Darla will need time to adjust and proper introductions like a lady deserves. She’s fine with other cats. If you have the patience to give her time to adjust and a little cat savvy to keep her pretty and groomed properly, she will thrive in a calmer environment. If so, she’s your girl!! Meet Scary! Scary is a gorgeous 2 year old silver tabby who looks like a little fox. She is sweet, friendly, and affectionate, and loves to sit on her fosters lap for pets and attention, purring happily away. She has energy and loves to play and explore her surroundings. Scary is litter box trained. She is a wonderful, sweet little girl who would make her owner very happy! Scary is currently located in the cat habitat at the PetSmart in Plainville, CT. The adoption fee for adult cats is $100. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, combo tested, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. Frankie (F), Ashley (F), Cory (M),& Richie (M) (as well as their mother) were rescued by an animal lover when they showed up in her yard. Ashley, Cory and Richie have been adopted. Now it's Frankie's turn. What a gorgeous gal! Frankie is a bit shy during the day time but super affectionate in the evening. She loves her treats and toys and other kitty friends. She will tap you with her paw to get you to pet her and she's very vocal when it's feeding time or attention time. The siblings were born on 5/16/23, are up to date with vaccines, FIV/FELV negative, spayed and microchipped. They can be seen in their foster home by appointment or on the days she is at Petco Bricktown Way or PetSmart Forest Ave for adoption events. These broken babies were found hiding in a junk yard in Brooklyn, and have grown into confident, loving kittens. They must stay together. They will bring joy to any home. The pitter-pat of little paws. The snuggles as the weather turns colder. They are ready to find their forever home. Is it with you? Garamond (all-black shorthair) is male, and extremely devoted and loving. He has a bum paw from a crush injury that is likely to not affect him later in life. He has no mobility issues. Dingbat (tuxedo longhair) his sister, has one eye. She is playful, and very attention-motivated. One eye does not slow her down at all! These two are not yet spay/neutered and would be a "foster to adopt" until that time. They are vaccinated and felv/fiv negative.

Smokey (short hair) and Flopper (long hair) met in their foster home and quickly became brothers. Smokey is a sweet serious little man who likes every toy and a quiet night watching Paddington (his favorite movie). Flopper is a social butterfly with a heart full of love and no shortage of purrs! He’s never met a person he didn’t like and will instantly win you over with his big, soulful eyes. Though Smokey is smaller, Flopper often lets him win when they play. Together, they balance each other out perfectly—Smokey calms Flopper’s boundless energy, while Flopper brings out Smokey’s playful side. Flopper will be the first to cozy up with you in bed, while Smokey prefers to take his time but will eventually settle in—his favorite spot is on top of your head! Smokey and Flopper are bonded and MUST be adopted together. They also need to be in a home without other pets, as Smokey can get a bit jealous when Flopper shares his attention with others. Smokey is about 7 and Flopper is about 3. Both boys are neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
