Story
Hobbes - Male DOB 2/27/2024 Domestic Long Hair - Brown Tabby Hobbes has been through a lot in his short life and it shows as he is still a bit on the scared side.  Volunteers have ben spending some extra time with him to help him be more confident and less afraid of people.  He is still learning that people can be kind. He is in our quiet room with other nice, shy kitties who also help him see it's ok to come out from his favorite cubby spot.  Hobbes is dreaming of a quiet home with cozy spots to nap in and big windows to watch the world go by. Hobbes will need to go home either with another kitty from the rescue to help him settle in, or home to another gentle, calm kitty.  No dogs or children is best for him.  He is friends with another kitty that is currently in the quiet room with him, Seamus, where they already were together in their southern foster home.  Seamus would help him feel safe and settle in if adopted together.  Having lots of windows and sunlight for him to relax near would be a big treat for him. Hobbes will  need a home with patient people who are willing to give him the attention he needs, and to let him settle in at his own pace.  When he is in his cubby and you put your hand in quickly to pet him, he may give a little hiss at first, but if you’re patient, he’ll lean into those chin and neck rubs and reward you with the sweetest purrs. Story
Greta - Female DOB 8/26/2024 Domestic Long Hair - Brown Tabby Meet Greta, a very sweet and personable fluffy kitten!  Greta is a perfect mix of snuggly and playful—she’ll happily curl up on your lap while you are watching TV, or just if you're sitting somewhere playing on your phone.  She has the sweetest little purr that will make you want to never stop petting her.  She loves to play with her other littermates and with several toys. Greta must be adopted with her sibling, Adele, as they share a sweet bond as you can tell from the pictures. They would do well in a home either with other kitties or by themselves, and also may be fine with older respectful children and could potentially adjust to a calm, well-mannered dog. Story
Wendy is a strikingly gorgeous long haired tortoiseshell 5 month old. This girl's multi-colored coat is simply beautiful just like her personality. Wendy loves to snuggle on laps and is a very affectionate sweetheart. She does like the finer things in life like a plush blanket to make biscuits on and a window seat by the window to watch birds and wildlife too. Very playful and enjoys the company of other kitties too. Good with dogs and children too. This girl will be someone special's constant companion and will most likely want to snuggle in bed by her person as well. All kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FELV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed and have received a health exam from our veterinarian and received a NH Health Certificate.
