Story
Meet Cricket, a 5-year-old Domestic Longhair (DLH) who was surrendered to PAC on May 16, 2024, because he became agitated around the children in his previous home. The shelter environment was very stressful for him, so he was moved to a wonderful foster home on May 20, 2024, where he now lives with dogs, cats, and teenagers. Cricket is a mix of quiet, finicky, active, playful, outgoing, and cuddly. He loves sitting on laps and is friendly with other cats, especially the kittens his foster family cares for. However, he is very nervous around dogs and would do best with a laid-back dog. While he gets along well with teenagers, his foster has learned his playstyle rough house! Cricket is not suitable for homes with young children, as he gets overstimulated and its quite scary for little ones who don`t understand. If you`re looking for a lap-loving, playful companion who enjoys the company of other cats and can handle a calm dog, Cricket could be the perfect fit for your family.

Story
Daisy was rescued as a kitten. She was found wandering alone outside. She grew up outside with one other cat from the same litter for a year. She was then brought inside and introduced to two other adult cats. Over the last four years, she has been an inside cat. She behaves well around kids and other cats. Can be shy and timid. Can be a little skittish and at times wants to be alone. May take time for her to warm up to new people and new environment. Loves to be pet. Very soft and fluffy. She has been bullied by a dominant male cat in the household for the last 2-3 years. Due to that, she started isolating herself to the basement of our house and wouldn’t come upstairs at all to be with us or the other cats. She was recently taken to the vet where she got an exam and updated shots. The vet confirmed that her behavior is not a medical issue, but a behavioral issue due to the bullying. Daisy is a very sweet cat but she would live a much happier life in another home.

Story
Joshua and his brother, Tally, came to us from a rural animal control facility.  Poor things were just babies when picked up and were terrified of being there, so it took them quite a while to relax and learn to trust humans.  They are currently in a foster home that specializes in shy and under-socialized kitties, and the boys have really blossomed there.  They have become quite the lap cats and cuddlers with their foster mom and absolutely adore her.  However, they will need time and patience when moving to a new home as change is scary for any kitty, but especially ones that are timid like the boys.  As such, they require a quiet and calm home without kids and with cat savvy parents who understand kitty behavior and will give them plenty of time to acclimate on their own.  They aren't aggressive and don't have a mean bone in their bodies; they just tend to hiss and hide when they are frightened until they know to trust you.   They are devoted and loyal kitties and love to be petted and play with toys.  Canned food is a big hit and that, combined with playtime, is the way to their hearts.  They must be adopted together as they are bonded and have been with one another since the beginning. They like other cats and would probably thrive with having a confident and friendly feline companion to teach them the ropes.   Joshua is neutered, chipped, current on vaccinations and negative for FeLV/FIV - tag # 14036JY (DOB 7/7/2023).November 5, 2024, 10:31 am

Story
Stella is beautiful, friendly adult cat. We adopted her from Humane Society over 10 years ago. I can't remember what year she was born but her birthday was Valentine's Day. She does not get along with our dog. He chases her and that upsets her. My objective is for her to be happy. She needs fun loving family that does not mind a happy cat that curls up and lays on you. Likely a home with no dogs or dogs that do not bother cats. .

Story
I am desperately in need to rehome my cat, Sarabi, who I have had for the last 8 years. Sarabi is a healthy 9 year old female domestic longhair. She is a very well behaved cat. I am a single parent of newborn twins and have no family in the area, and very few friends who are unable to help. Sarabi and I have been friends for so many years, she brought so much joy to my life, but I am finding it not possible to take care of her as well as the twins, and work full time. I am single, live alone and it is difficult to do this on my own. Sarabi is not getting the attention or the love she deserves.

Good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
I got Cripp in August, I brought him home and released him downstairs where I keep the cat boxes. And put food and water in the area also. Although my other kitty gets her food upstairs, I always intended he would just start coming up eventually and eat and live with us. HE HAS NOT. Although he does come up as you see in pics, but runs away quickly any movement on my part. So sadly he has not been petted or loved on for months. So I am tryin all kinds of tactics to try and befriend him and he is still running. I think he would make a great kitty companion in a different environment. Maybe an Apartment, one or two people, not a busy household. ONE NOTABLE PHYSICAL DEFECT wish I could think of a better word. His hind legs are not normal, but he is wonderful and it doesn' effect him. His previous owner told me he was born with the leg issue. She also told me he is not neurtered. He wobbles, maybe even drags, been hard to tell. So please contact me any simple question.
