Story
This sweet cat is semi-feral has been with ABF for an extended period.  While some progress has been made, there is still wariness of human contact and he will tend to avoid interaction.  This cat has never been exposed to outdoor elements or hunting, so would not be suitable as a barn cat. He is used to living in an air conditioned and heated building with other cats in a very clean room that has lots of windows and is excellent at using the litter box. We would love for him to have a home of his own where he could continue to thrive.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Teri (terik@tarasdream.org) for more information about this pet.Online Application | T.A.R.A.'s Web Site | Email T.A.R.A. Padme is a 10 year old short haired orange cat from a single family home.  She always wants to go outside even though an indoor cat.  Unfortunately, she is stealthy and got out, so she now has FIV which is contracted by being bitten by another cat with the virus.  It is not spread to humans or just being around other cats, so her sister Leia does not have it. Very friendly with her humans but only tolerates other animals.  She is happy to be brushed and will begrudgingly allow you to clip her nails.  Not very playful with toys but very interactive - she often comes when called.  She loves to snuggle and has a loud purr.  Very very big talker.  The girl has a lot to say unless stretched out purring on your lap.  Owner needs to re-home due to new family allergies.  Up to date on shots, spayed and healthy. Approximate Birthdate: 8/1/2014 Adoption Fee: $75 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, FeLV/FIV Combo test, flea prevention and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.   For more information, please fill out a non-binding application. November 16, 2024, 2:09 pm

Leia is a 10 year old long-haired buff colored cat from a single family home.  She visits everyone who comes to the house.  She does not like to go outside.  Although afraid of big dogs, she does ok with small dogs.  Playful with toys and has a strange love of brooms - she thinks it is a toy.  She lets me clip her nails, but is not patient with brushing hair.  Loves to knead and sit with you, staring adoringly.  Rarely talks, but when she does, it is a little squeak.  Big pur!  Owner needs to re-home due to new family allergies.  Up to date on shots and spayed and healthy. Story
Meet lovely Raya, a stunning long-haired black cat with a charming white floof that adds to her elegance. This sweet girl is shy and nervous, so she'll need a patient and understanding adopter who can give her the time and space to feel safe. While she may never be a lap cat, she enjoys being near her people, offering quiet companionship. Her favorite pastime? Sitting in the sink and sipping on fresh water-it's her own little ritual! She's not fond of other animals, so a quiet, pet-free home would be ideal for her. If you're looking for a gentle, low-maintenance companion who will appreciate a calm environment, she might just be the perfect match for you. Give her the love and security she needs, and she'll reward you with her quiet presence and unique charm.
