Hi, my name is Naz Reid! I am a striking long haired tabby kitten that’s looking for my perfect family. I finally broke through my comfort zone and love attention! I might be shy at first with new people, but eventually I will love you just as much as I love my foster family. I also constantly rub up on my foster families legs, love getting attention from them, and even sitting on their lap. I love to play with my siblings and hope to go home with one of them. I love my cactus scratcher also! Am I meant to be in your family? I am fully vetted: neutered, FIV&FeLV negative, and I am up to date on my vaccinations. Hi, my name is Clara! I am an absolutely STUNNING long haired swirled tabby. I’m kind of a big girl and most people think I’m a boy at first glance. My face is very regal and it draws people in… what can I say, I’m a stunner. At first I can be a little shy, but I enjoy affection and being petted - back scratches are my favorite. I’m not a big fan of being held, but that may change with time. I enjoy basking in the sun, sprawling all out on the floor, and playing with catnip toys. I am great with other cats and I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to that understands it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I adjust. Moo is a good girl. She likes only small dogs not a fan of big dogs so please don’t adopt her if you have them. She’s affectionate when she wants to be but only on her terms. She’s not good with other cats, we would also like someone who’s close and we can get updates on her as this is hard for my 12 year old daughter to accept.

Blanche came in as a bottle baby and was born in mid-July 2024. Blanche grew up in foster care with three other little girls and they became "the golden girls!" The girls love to play together and Blanche is a gorgeous tortie longhair, she is more timid than the other girls, but loves to be petted and talked to. Blanche needs a home with other felines, so if you don't already have one - she suggests one of her "sisters" Dorothy, Sophia or Rose. Come down and meet them all - they are a lovely bunch! All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes.
