Story
Leo is a playful, 2-year-old dude, looking for his forever home and family! This cute, fluffy guy rubs against my legs and purrs out loud when I pet him. He loves hanging out in his tent and playing with toys—he is a skilled hunter! This handsome guy has high energy, since his kitten days are not far behind him. He maxes out his cardio, then naps equally hard. Leo currently lives with one adult in a one-bedroom apartment. It is currently unknown how he reacts with other cats, children, or dogs, but he does have a very friendly personality, so would most likely be fine with gentle introductions. This sweet boy would thrive in a loving home where he can get plenty of attention from people who are around frequently. He’ll also need someone who is comfortable brushing his lustrous fur, so he doesn’t get mats. If you’re ready to add this affectionate boy to your home this fall, Leo would love to meet you! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Story
Meet the cutest and most playful 4-5 month old kittens, Trapper Keeper and Birdie! These two girls will be looking for a forever family that wants nothing more than to have TWO adorable, playful, silly kittens to add a little fun to their home. Trapper Keeper is a medium-hair brown tabby with the fluffiest tail; she is about 4 months old. Keeper’s bright yellow eyes, softest silky hair, along with the cutest tufts of hair coming out of her tiny ears truly make her the cutest kitten out there! She is a lover and enjoys getting on the couch with her humans, laying on the softest blankets, and snuggling on her human’s lap while they work from home. She’s your built-in shadow; if you are in the kitchen, she will be right there with you, at your feet reminding you it is most likely dinnertime or close to it! She meows like a fierce lion, and it includes a cute nose wrinkle! Throughout the day you will find her playing with her pal, they love to chase after each other, play in tunnels, chase their toys, and wrestle. Birdie is a gorgeous tabico; she is STUNNING! Her face mask is perfect! Birdie is approximately 5 months old, very friendly and outgoing. She loves it when you pet her head and tell her she is such a good girl! She loves playtime with a fun wand toy, a tunnel, ping pong balls and will capture all annoying flies in the house! She is a very active girl and spends the day discovering new toys in the toy box and enticing her pal to play as much as she can. She too is a shadow; if you enter a room and close the door, she will wait patiently for you to open it back up! After a day filled with playtime, Birdie is the first in bed, ready to snuggle next to her humans for a good night’s rest. These best friends haven’t been around young children; however, I do believe they would do well with kids 10 and over. They currently live with a chill dog and a resident cat. If you are looking for two sweet and active girls who will give you a lifetime of love, laughter, and companionship, please put in an application for these cuties! Story
Stuffed Crust is a beautiful 4-month-old kitten, looking for his forever home! He loves to play with his littermates and can also be found mixing it up with the adult cats in the home. This guy has a healthy appetite; he enjoys canned food, treats, and dry food. Some of his favorite toys are wand toys, fuzzy catnip toys, balls, and automatic toys. This handsome boy is still a little shy but once you pick him up and start giving him pets, he melts in your arm. He is always ready for pets and loves being brushed. Stuffed Crust would thrive in a home with someone to give him lots of love and attention while he is still young, to create a strong bond; the secrets to winning this guy over include treats, playtime, and plenty of pets and scratches. Stuffed Crust should be adopted with one of his littermates or he should go to a home with another young friendly cat to be his bff and playmate. His littermates are: Onion, Mushroom, Banana Pepper, Pepperoni, Anchovy, and Garlic. Ready for some extra kitten goodness this fall? Try a Stuffed Crust for total treat! Story
Sky's approximate date of birth is August 29, 2023. She is spayed and vaccinated. She tested negative for FIV/Felv and she has a registered microchip. Her adoption fee is $250.00 + tax. (Sky and Ember must be adopted together) Sky: Welcome to The Purrfect Match! Where we bring cats and humans together, forever! I am your host and today we will be meeting the Beautiful Sky. 1. What are you most looking for in an adopter? I am looking for someone who is patient, kind and understanding. Someone who will love me unconditionally for who I am. I was born outdoors and though I have come very far, I am still learning how to trust and live the indoor life. 2. What do you think is important for a healthy human cat relationship? I think trust is very important both ways. I need to trust that a human will forever provide safety, love, toys, comfort, and a trip to the doctor if I ever don't feel good. My human can trust me to be kind and comforting when they need it too. It just might take me a little longer than a 'normal' kitty. 3. What is the best gift you've ever received? I would say my foster mama bringing me indoors from the scary outdoors. Also my kitty cave bed, I love napping in it because it makes me feel safe. 4. Are you more of an introvert or extrovert? At the moment I am 75% extroverted. I am working really hard on being confident! Sometimes I still just need my alone time. When I am out and about I enjoy pets and scratches, laying on a lap, and being picked up and snuggled. When I am in my cave bed I am recharging my social battery and want to be left alone. Ember is inspiring me though and I am getting better! 5. Do you have any pet peeves? When I am in my cave bed and my foster mama tries to pet or pick me up. I get upset and hiss. Only because I want left alone and am a little scared. I have never hurt anyone. 6. How do you prefer to relax in your free time? I enjoy taking naps with Ember, laying on a window shelf, basking in the sunshine and grooming myself. Also recharging in my cave bed. 7. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Both. I can be awake and alert with my human in the morning in no time, but sometimes I also enjoy playing with Ember or chasing a ball at midnight. I don't do it for long though because I know everyone is sleeping. 8. Is there anything you are scared of? The outdoors and unpredictable things like loud noises and movements. A human coming at me quickly also scares me because I don't know what they are doing to do. Humans weren't nice to me when I was little and lived outdoors but my foster mama says I am doing so good at overcoming that experience! 9. If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you? Unlimited canned food for sure, a girl has to eat! My sister Ember and my cave bed. 10. Would you relocate for the perfect adopter? Absolutely! My foster mama lives in the middle of nowhere and she said she is willing to give me a ride anywhere for the perfect human. 11. What is your most favorite food? Any canned food really, but I especially like chicken and tuna. Treats too of course! 12. How much alone time do you typically need? I would say about 25% of my time right now is alone time, but I am getting better at being confident and wanting to be around humans! I have always been on the independent side and don't ask for much or make a fuss. My foster mama calls me a 'typical tuxedo'. 13. Have you ever lived with another cat or a dog? Yes. I was born outside and lived with a handful of other big cats and also my family. I like living with other cats, especially my sister Ember. My foster mama introduced me to a dog and he was big but nice, and I think I could live with a dog as long as they are nice. 14. Who is your best friend and why are they your best friend? My best friend is my sister Ember. She is my best friend because she plays with me, comforts me and snuggles with me. She inspires me to come out of my shell and be confident. We have always been there for each other and I would be lost without her. 15. What is a non-negotiable that you need in an adopter? I need my human to be my forever human. I never want to live outside ever again and I have heard how scary shelters are, I never want to go there. I also need my human to understand that I may be a little scared when I move in at first, but I promise as soon as we establish trust I will be myself and will work hard on being their friend and confidant. 16. Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself? I am a good girl. I always use the bathroom box, keep my fur clean and pretty, and don't scratch furniture and only use my scratchers. I won't ask for much and even though I may be scared at first, I will try my best to become the real me. I love love the indoor life and it's where I belong. I am hoping to find a couple to adopt me and Ember together. I think I will be able to have more confidence and comfort with her in my life forever. Perhaps a couple where one human wants a needy snuggly kitty and the other wants an independent aloof one? I know my perfect adopters are out there and I can't wait to meet them! *If you would be interested in meeting a Saving Tails Animal Rescue pet or being considered for an adoption, please complete an adoption application at savingtails.org. Story
I may be a little shy at first, but give me some time, and you'll see my sweet side. I love quiet moments, like when the shelter turns off the lights, and all you can hear is the soft purring of my fellow felines. I enjoy the simple things, like a warm spot to nap, or a gentle hand to stroke my fur. I'm not one for loud noises or sudden movements, but I promise, I'll be the calm in your everyday chaos. Why should you adopt me? Because I'm Rawena, the sweet, shy cat who will love you unconditionally.Rawena prefers to be an only pet. Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!
