Story
I was found near a local business, no identification. After kind folks realized that I was homeless, I secured a spot at Animal Ark. I`m looking for a new home where I can be treasured like the petite princess I was meant to be. Staff and volunteers have found me to be very sweet, outgoing, and affectionate. I did test positive for feline leukemia, a common virus that effects about 2% of the U.S. cat population. It is not transmittable to humans or species other than cats. Staff will be glad to answer any questions. If a mini house panther sounds appealing, please come to the shelter to meet me!

Story
*** Currently in foster care. Meeting can be arranged with an approved application. *** Hello, My name is Archie! I am a brown tabby and white male, estimated to be around 1 1/2 years old. I was found wandering around a neighborhood, no collar, tag, or microchip. A caring person brought me inside from the cold. She described me as friendly and affectionate. I love to play and snuggle. I enjoy watching birds from a window, and I`m just a sweet, mellow fellow. Because very little is known of my background, I need to be the only pet in my new home.

Story
My name is Millie, and I found myself at Animal Ark after a kind person took great care of me until a spot opened up at the shelter. I`m an experienced mom, but my days of raising kittens are thankfully in the past. I`m a longer-haired brown tabby female with gorgeous markings. Staff are still getting to know me, but my guardian angel described me as shy. My experience with other animals and children is unknown. Given my recent adventures in the outdoors, I`m looking for a family dedicated to keeping me safe indoors. It may take some patience, but I recognize kindness when I see it, and I`ll repay you with purrs, affection, and unconditional love.

Story
My name is Romeo, and I`m a longhaired grey and white adult male cat who found myself at Animal Ark when my owner found herself with too many pets. When I came to the shelter, my owner described me as friendly, quiet, and easy-going. I`m happy and playful with dogs, but I behave aggressively toward other cats. I have no experience with children. Gradual introductions are always best, but I must be the only feline in my new home. With a luxurious coat like mine, regular brushing and combing is a necessity, and grooming is a great way to bond with me. If a mellow, big, furry dude like me is what you are looking for, come meet me at Animal Ark.

Story
I`m called Kevin, and I`m a 1-year-old orange and white longhaired male cat that was found roaming a neighborhood, unclaimed. When space opened up, I came to Animal Ark to find a new home where I will be a cherished member of a family. Staff have found me to be playful, affectionate, and energetic. I can`t go home to a home with dogs--I`m terrified of them, probably because of experiences when I was a stray. My exposure to children is unknown. Staff at the shelter have discovered that I do not do well with other cats, so I will need to be an only cat in my new home. Now that I`ve had a taste of the outdoors, my new family will have to be vigilant about keeping me indoors. If this sounds like your kind of home, please stop into the shelter and introduce yourself.

Story
Sky's approximate date of birth is August 29, 2023. She is spayed and vaccinated. She tested negative for FIV/Felv and she has a registered microchip. Her adoption fee is $275.00 + tax. (Sky and Ember must be adopted together) Ember and Sky are best friends and have been bonded since the beginning! They are each other's yin and yang. Sky tends to be more of an introvert and Ember is definitely an extrovert. Ember is a lap cat and Sky prefers side snuggles. Sky tends to be more independent and Ember codependent. It's believed Sky had poor experiences with humans when she was a kitten and as a result tends to be more cautious. Ember has taken it upon herself to be Sky's guardian and guide and it's the sweetest thing! If Ember senses Sky is scared, she will stand in front of her to make her feel protected and safe. Sky takes her lead and Ember gives her confidence she needs and allows her to be brave. Sky will take longer to settle in then Ember, but once she does she blossoms into a sweet, calm and loving girl. They both enjoy affection, although Ember tends to take the spotlight! She is a kneading queen and will make dough on any surface. Sky appreciates the quiet soft love; full body pets and head caresses but especially chin rubs. Those are her favorite! They both LOVE wand toys! They also like shaker mice and balls, and will play with a ball chaser every now and then. They both enjoy laying in a sunny window, atop a cat tower watching the birds outside and chittering at them. They are such sweet, beautiful souls and all they want is a home of their own ♥&#239&#184&#143 *If you would be interested in meeting a Saving Tails Animal Rescue pet or being considered for an adoption, please complete an adoption application at savingtails.org. Saving Tails Animal Rescue (STAR) is a 501(c)3 registered no-kill, non profit animal rescue. All animals are placed in loving foster homes until their forever family finds them. Story
Baby is a very affectionate cat. She loves to be petted and likes to lay on your lap. She demands a lot of attention. I work a lot and I feel that she would be better in a different home because I am not home enough to give her the attention she needs. Baby is partly Japanese Long-haired bobtail cat. She has a very short nubby tail. Her tail does get in the way when she goes to the bathroom so she needs help with making sure that area is kept clean. She has never been around dogs and she is a bit shy and scared of people she doesn't know at first.

Story
Evy is a 7-year-old sweet cat looking for her forever home! This sweet floofy gal loves to chill all day. She'll find a warm or fuzzy spot and sleep the day away...until you bring out a wand toy. Then she's all swats and jumps. She's also likely to rest on your stomach if you're lying down, or on your lap if you're sitting down. Ever the companion, if you talk to her, she'll meow right back! Evy has a medium energy level. She can get really excited about toys but otherwise she does her own thing. She'll give you a meow if she's bored, but a couple minutes of playtime calms her right back down. She can get sassy as she has particular ways, but once you learn her quirks, it's easy street. She enjoys pets and getting all the attention! This lovely lady currently lives in a quiet apartment with one human. Her ideal home is one where she doesn’t have to share the spotlight—multiple loving humans are fine, but she would do best in a home without small children or other pets. As a bit of a fluffy girl currently on a journey toward her ideal weight, Evy has a bit of trouble grooming her rear. She's on a new diet so as she's losing weight, she'll gain the flexibility to groom her backside easily. Right now, she just needs a little extra help with a pet wipe every other day. Evy is a lovely cat ready to settle in and be someone’s best companion—she's just a sweet cat looking for a new place to chill and be doted on. Could that be with you? Story
This 8-year-old medium-haired fluffer is as regal as her name, which means "King" in Hindi. True to her title, Raja loves being treated like royalty and knows how to command a household with her charming yet independent personality. Her stunning coat adds to her majestic aura, and don’t forget about her adorable toe beans—they’re as cute as they are paw-sitively perfect!Raja is a low-energy kitty who enjoys the finer things in life, like lounging on her cat tree, basking in sunny spots, and keeping an eye on the resident squirrels through the window. She’s a playful fluffer at heart, entertaining herself with toys (and occasionally losing them under furniture). Raja can be quite the chatterbox and will let you know when she needs something, but her appreciation for your efforts is always clear. This queen prefers a calm, structured home where her boundaries are respected. She’s skittish around new people and large gatherings, so a quiet environment without young kids is necessary. She hasn't met any other cats or dogs yet, but may be open to them with the right introduction. While Raja isn’t a fan of being picked up, she loves gentle affection on her terms and enjoys exploring her space. Her ideal family will be patient, understanding, and willing to accommodate her routine.Raja has some special needs that require a little extra care—she has arthritis that is managed with monthly injections and occasional ear issues that are easily treated with provided medication. If you’re looking for a sophisticated, loyal, and occasionally sassy companion to brighten your days, Raja is ready to rule your heart and home. Apply to meet this royal kitty today—she’s sure to make your life paws-itively amazing! - - - - -- - - - There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal’s history is unknown. and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Story
Cuddles is a 4-year-old, beautiful long-haired tortoiseshell looking for a loving, peaceful, low-stress, forever home! The way to this sweet girl’s heart is through playing with her. She loves to play every day, hiding and chasing with wand toys, and sometimes gettign the zoomies when it’s time for a real cardio workout! When it’s time for a rest, she will lie near you on the couch or nap with you on the bed. Cuddles likes to be in the same room with her human but doesn’t like to be picked up or petted too much. Cuddles is loving the cozy indoor life; she currently lives in a house with two older adults. Cuddles’ ideal home is a calm environment where she can feel safe and spend time together with her people. Humans who work from home or are around a lot are ideal. She does not do well with dogs, other cats, or young children; respectful, gentle, cat-savvy kids over 12 would be okay. This stunning girl will need to be brushed regularly to keep her gorgeous, long fur in tip-top shape and to prevent mats. She has allergies and needs a prescription-only diet; her forever people would have to commit to providing this for her so she can live a happy, healthy life. Cuddles is an affectionate, playful lady who just needs the right quiet, loving home where she can enjoy a serene life and gain confidence and trust. Story
Marshall is a 2-year-old absolute lion of a sweetheart ready for his forever home! Marshall is clearly incredible handsome and regal in looks, but is even cuter with his wobbly strut! Marshall has what's called cerebellar hypoplasia, or more commonly known as wobbly cat syndrome! Not to worry; he is not in pain, and the condition simply affects his balance from the underdevelopment or malformation of the cerebellum, which is responsible for coordinating movement. He can live a full and happy life like any other cat; with some easy modifications for his safety and to help him get around a bit easier such as carpeted floors and blocking steep stairs. Marshall would be considered "moderate" with his CH. You can see videos of him getting around on his fosters social media pages; kittyfosterroxanne on instagram or Kitty Foster Roxanne MN on facebook to better view his capabilities! Marshall absolutely lives for scritches and brushing and snuggles and hugs! Daily grooming helps him keep his coat clean and untangled; and he is the very best patient giving the worlds best air biscuits for all of your help! He has favorite wand toys and he loves to do a big pounce, but don't tell him its not quite as a big of a leap as he thinks it is ha!! I hope you love to have conversations about your day... because Marshall would like to discuss it with adorable little chirps, especially before canned food time! Mostly he just loves love and any amount of attention you will give him, but doesnt mind self entertaining. You will be rewarded with big purrs and the ability to get your cute aggression out in his ginormous lion mane; he is simply one of a kind! Marshall is a bit afraid of brand new people and new situations; and needs time in his favorite "safe space" cat box to observe and come out to visit at his own speed. But does well with communicating that he's uncomfortable. He is exuberant in everything he does, but has never gone too far with his play or excitement. Anyone he is comfortable with he is just thrilled to see; and there is simply no way he wont make his forever family smile every day! Marshall currently lives with 2 resident cats and one other foster. He would prefer to live as a solo cat where he can personally soak up all of their love and attention for himself. He hasn't yet met a dog, but might perhaps be okay with a very calm cat savvy dog who gives him lots of space since he can't defend himself very well with his CH. Overall, Marshall would do best in a quiet, stable home where he can get plenty of attention. He'd be great for apartment living or one level spaces with rugs added to any un-carpeted space for him to get around, along with someone or a couple people who are around consistently for plenty of attention until he retreats himself for a nap! Overall, Marshall is an absolute sweetheart of a cat with the most adorable quirks that are sure to keep his forever humans laughing all day long. If you'd like your very own cat with the mane of a lion, consider this special boy. He is very excited to meet you!-------- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
